She just feels ''weak'' to use. Her X-Ray move is particuarly tame in my opinion. Only her Fatality is cool.

Yeah... I hate her X-Ray move. Just horrible... probably one, if not, the WORST in the entire game. But the fatality is pretty nice. Simply done. Yet, very cool to watch.

Is there anyone from the later games that people actually 'want' to see left? I found most MK4/Deadly Alliance/Deception/Armegeddon characters to be cheap ripoffs of the main characters whom weren't included in the game. Such as Ashra being a female Raiden, for example.

For months, folks have been wondering who the fourth and final downloadable fighter would be in Mortal Kombat. Today, we know, and it's batcrap insane. Freddy Krueger -- the dream-invading, claw-wearing murderer from the A Nightmare on Elm Street film franchise -- is coming to Mortal Kombat on Aug. 9, 2011.
This Freddy rocks two claws and appears to be based more on the 2010 Freddy reboot than the classic Robert Englund look. If previous downloadable characters are any indication, Freddy Krueger in Mortal Kombat will set you back 400 Microsoft points or $4.99 on the PlayStation Network.

That just makes the game worth buying now. BUT, forces them to add in Jason, which begs for an all out Horror Movie fighting game.
Freddy Jason Myers Pinhead (Cenobytes) Pumpkin Head Chucky Leatherface Leprachaun Headless Horsemen Tall Man (Phantasm) Ghostface The Creeper (jeepers creepers) The Djinn (Wishmaster) Angela (Night of the demons) Puppets (Puppet Master) Pennywise (IT) Zombies
The list goes on and on, but those are off the top of my head (30 years of horror movies adds up to too many to recall)

I have to say that 'THIS' is how you market a fighting game. Neither the younger unmasked sub zero or the retro cyber subzero even EXIST in this new MK timeline, and yet we can still play as them - FOR FREEEEEE! Well Done, NRS. Flawless Victory!
