OOC: Basically, instead of having some sort of 'in-ring' goodbye with Genesis. I'm gonna change it up just a little bit. As you can see from the thread: Aftermath. In terms of kayfabe. Genesis went out in a blaze of glory (quite literately, lol) thanks to MG Cage & Double S. So, as you'll read below. The scene will start with what's left of the burnt casket being rolled into the back in the Gorilla Position. With Genesis getting out of the casket. Obviously, unscathed. And as he does so. Everyone that is associated with the company is back there giving him a standing ovation. To pay there respects to Genesis. Then, whoever wants to chime into this thread & say a few words. I'll reply back with Genesis to each of you.
As far as comments go. I realize Genesis as a character was never the most beloved guy out there like other legends such as Avenger or Sylas Styles. So, while I don't want this thread to be turned into 'cheap pot shots' towards a character on his way out the door. I'm also open to them as well. As long as it doesn't go over the line or anything. If possible. I'd like to see a mixed bag from everybody to make things a bit more realistic in regards to the roster's feelings towards this guy. The way I look at the roster's PoV towards Genesis over the years. As a character. He'd understand that some people may have liked him & respected him. But others? Well... not so much. lol After the camera's inside the arena had shut off. The once burning casket. Which, now obviously had been extinguished by crew members. Genesis. Who was totally against the 'trap door' scenario. Frankly. Had the people not gotten the fire out in time. Genesis would've truly been "well done". However, things did go according to plan. As during the match planning. Genesis put his faith into the crew here at TNB Wrestling to get the fire out after the stunt was over with.
The casket was now rolled to the back. In the gorilla position area. Where wrestlers, trainers, agents, producers. Even CEO Chris Lionheart. Waited to see if Gen. was alright. Gen. kicked the remnants of the casket door right off. As he began to pull himself out of the casket. To which, he looked over at everyone else. Where he was then given a standing ovation from his peers.
As he hopped out of the casket. Gen. was immediately handed a towel from a nearby agent to wipe himself off any sweat or blood. As he did a few minor cuts on his body from the table spots he took.
After doing all this. The first person to walk up to him, and greet him was...

Chris Lionheart himself. He reaches over and shakes Gen's hand.
Through all the ups and downs, you should be proud of what you have accomplished, especially here. Even when management were on your ass for being outspoken, your talent proved that you couldn't be denied. This question might be a little too soon, obviously you might just ant to revel in the moment and tell me to shut up. Now that you're backstage with this standing ovation from your peers... Are you happy with how everything went down out there just now, or have you got a possible one 'Last Shot' left in you somewhere in the future?

Gen. returned the handshake. Out of all the people. Chris was the first person to come up & show Genesis some respect. Perhaps earned? Maybe not? Depending on your PoV. But nonetheless...
Chris? What you saw out there with Double S? With all due respect bro. That was "My Last Shot". I laid it all on the line tonight. The better man beat me. Ya know. For the last 4-5 months. We killed each other. We may have not faced each other in a 'one-on-one' atmosphere until tonight. But every week up until this point. We laid it all on the line. Milked, and built this shit up until the 'final curtain'. Somebody had to win. Somebody had to lose. Like I say... the better man won tonight. I'm not ashamed of it. Nor, do I have any regrets.

Chris smiles.
That's great to hear. Sounds like you're happy, and you should be really with an in-ring career like yours. You know... we're always looking for managers around this joint. But I won't pressure you, ha ha! What's your plan for tonight? Going to celebrate with some lovely ladies, or are you too banged up for that?

*The Avenger walks out and surprisingly with no make-up on. Not even in his wrestling attire. He came out with a pair of black jeans and a black t-shirt on. One of his authentic t-shirts that TNB sells. He comes out not as the persona as the Avenger but as Sebastian Crowe his real name.*
Well this will feel different for me so I know that things are good for you. This is a night I don't think many would think would happen but I stand beside you and applaud you. You battled well the years that you came alive and now you can hold your head up high knowing that you done all you wanted and more. This was the year of the departures. Sylas and Kim and myself and now you. No regrets I can see that look in your eye. But I know it is a look of fulfillment.
One thing I know about you is you never leave with regrets or broken promises. You left putting it all on the line and now you can see that there is other things awaiting you. Just like I got that open door as I am glad my last match in this building was against Angel Fyre. But as I go out I see that I wanted one of my last matches to be with you and like advertised we didn't disappoint.
It has been a pleasure to be on this ride along with you for the most part. Enemies in the ring for sure because anyone that stepped in the ring against me was my enemy but can say that my biggest rival has always been you. Kudos for what you gave in the ring and out of it. All in all our careers will mirror one another as the tag "Franchise" is not for me or you but for the fans that made it special. So Gen I know you said the book is closed and maybe it is. For me I am taking a walk to see from the inside of this place and who knows what the future holds for me. But one thing is for sure and that is "Never" is "Never" in my vocabulary.

Gen. first replies to Lionheart:
To tell you the truth. I think I'm just gonna take it easy for the rest of the evening. Too banged up to be 'bangin' anything else. As for your proposal? I'll keep it in my thoughts. But ya know me by now. Genesis always goes for BIG. While my career is over inside the ring. Doesn't mean I can't have the same impact outside of it. So when, and if I do return. Its gonna be done in a big way. That much, I can promise you...
Gen. then turns his attention over to Sebastian. The man, who despite the wars & battles in the ring. Had it not been for this man right here. Genesis would not be standing here right now. Maybe not even had the career he did have. Bittersweet in some ways. Even though he's retiring at a young age. Gen. wanted to walk out of his in-ring career in a big way. What bigger fashion to do that then here this evening at RTS III, right?
I can't say that I'm totally walking away without any real 'regrets', Sebastian. Surely, there are wrestlers I would've loved to have had at least one shot at in the ring with. But, all in all. I can't wait around til I'm 50 to have those matches happen. I felt the time was right. I've done everything I could do for this company on the 'inside'. Frankly, I know I can go with anybody for at least a good 10 years or so. Before my body would eventually start to crash. I wanted to be able to walk away with my body intact. Rather then in a wheelchair or other means. Ya know?
Your right though, Sebastian. 'Never say never'. But, I'm not Brett Favre or Michael Jordan. No come backs. No 'last shots' anytime soon. I'm keeping my word until I can no longer live my life. My ambition is to do more on the 'Company' side of things. I want to give these men & women here at TNB Wrestling a solid structure to perfect there craft. In the coming months. You, and the rest of the world. Will begin to see how that is gonna come about.
