Jason was sitting in his locker room, mentally preparing for tonights handicap showdown with MG Cage & Bobby Williams. And Generra was of course, less than ecstatic about that fact.
He sat in a chair propped up against the wall, staring across the room where Generra and her "associate" were sitting side by side, staring right back at him. Eliza Aries had made her way into the locker room to get some words from him before tonights match, and to talk about last week's match and how he got himself into this mess. The camera's were in place as well, and the interview began.
Eliza Aries: Jason, I'd just like to thank you for the time you've given so that I can ask you a few questions here tonight. I know you have to get ready so, I'll make it quick.
Yeah. I would if I were you.
Jason's stare isn't broken as his eyes lock with Generra's across the room. She was just staring a hole through him as if he were the lowest form of scum on earth. She wasn't a happy camper and Jason knew it. He let out a low sigh waiting for Samantha to get started already.
Eliza Aries: Well tonight you face off against the same two men you've been at war with for the past 2 weeks. Bobby Williams & MG Cage respectively. Only this time it's a handicap match, where you will be the one facing the two of them. Much different than your last 2 matches. Do you care to explain your feelings behind that and how you found yourself, in this position?
Jason shook his head, almost like he had no idea what to say or how to answer the question. He leaned back into the chair crossing his arms as he responded.
How do I feel about it?
Is that a serious question Samantha? How should I feel about it? Yeah, I'll admit it right here and now that it was my idea to put that stipulation on the match. That's true and I won't deny it. But if it's one thing Generra has taught me since I've been working with her, it's that in today's world.. If you want to make a statement, you have to make, the statement.
Eliza Aries: I--I don't follow Jason...
Jason went on.
If you want it to be known you plan on being the biggest, the brightest and the best in this business, you can't start with small fish. You gotta go for the biggest damn fish you can find, preferably a friggin great white shark!
And if there's not one of those available? You grab as many as the smaller ones as you can at once. Why? So the other fish that are watching think more than twice about swimming your way Samantha. Simple. That's what i was trying to establish. That, and the fact that...
I have no fear anymore. None whatsoever. People probably think I felt some kind of way about the loss last week. Ha . I really really didn't Samantha, at all!
It didn't matter. What matters is I went into the match knowing what could possibly happen in the match and after the match this week. Samantha, This far into my career, I've been afraid of countless things to the point where, it held me back from doing what needed to be done. But those days, Samantha, are over. It looks bad right now, but it's a process. I believe that.
Jason's eyes locked with Generra's again, she just continued to sit there, motionless, save for her lips which were clearly pronouncing words within the convo she was having with her mysterious associate. The interview continued on, Jason finally starting to loosen up a bit getting that off of his chest.
Eliza Aries:Ok, well what are your thoughts on the outcome of the match tonight? What do you think will be the outcome?
Doesn't matter really. It's just an exhibition. I'm gonna go out and put on a show that much I can promise. The last triple threat match, I was out of it a bit. I can't lie at all. A lot has been on my mind and I've had to re-think and unlearn a lot of things this past month. But I believe it's for the best. Actually, it's more than just belief...
It's something I know... is for the best...
To believe is one thing... But when you know something?... There's no comparison, at all.
But anyway Samantha... It's only an exhibition. The real show comes at the Abomination Pay Per View show. That's when things are gonna be really, really fun Samantha.
Eliza Aries: And that leads us into my next question. The World Class title is on the line in a 6 man Uncivil Warfare match. Something that could prove to be both brutal, and career changing for every man involved in that match. Your thoughts on that match Jason?
Jason's eyes leave those of Gen's for a second, looking in Samantha's direction as she waited for his answer. Slowly they shift back forward as a smile crept upon his face giving his answer.
You know.. There was a time when... I would have almost had an anxiety attack thinking about going into a match like this. I mean seriously; I wouldn't have understood what needed to be done to come out victorious in something like this. Or even to compete at an extremely high level in a match like this.
But now? I know what it takes. I know how deep down I'll have to reach to pull out a stellar performance that can jump start my career like it should have been jump started years ago. You've got some of the best performers in the industry in that match, and there won't be room for mistakes. There won't be room for mercy. And there won't be room for any more of what the first half of my career left me with. Regrets.
There's only room for success. They say you'll go through hell and high water to get what you want Samantha. Well, that World Class title is something I want. Hell, I need it more than I want it. Why do I think I'll win that Uncivil Warfare match? And if not, make the biggest impact of the Abomination Pay Per View?
Because I'm willing to go through hell and high water...
I'm willing to engage in warfare... No matter how brutal or destructive it may become...
And I'm willing to be as uncivil... And as monstrous, as any human being ever has before... To get.. Whatever...I want...
Cage... Williams.... Kain... Styles, and especially the Deuce Bigalow impersonator, Angel Fyre.... All are in for a few surprises from Jason Youngblood at Abomination, as well as this season... Honestly... The entire wrestling world is...
...Quote it...
Samantha was taken aback hearing Jason's words. He nodded to her as he grabbed the towel from a nearby chair, standing to his feet and walking out of camera view. Samantha stood to her feet once again, officially ending the interview with..
Eliza Aries: Well TNB universe, Jason Youngblood seems to be more than prepared for what may transpire with both his handicap match tonight, as well as a most likely to be, gruesome display of "uncivil warfare, next week at the Pay Per View. Will it play out the way he wants? We'll have to wait & See. I'm Eliza Aries, signing off.
And TNB Brash, moves on to the next segment of it's show.
