Divide plays over the PA as Manor makes his way out onto the stage. Posing a bit as the crowd cheers, he makes his way down to the ring and slaps hands with some of the crowd by the bottom of the ramp. He seemed to walk with an extra bounce in his step as he entered the ring and posed a bit more before grabbing a mic. Once his music died down he brought it to his lips.
I gotta say, most of Collision Course I stayed fairly quiet, which is just a rarity that I would ever shut up even for a little. But I did some thinking about things others have said. That maybe I mellowed out too much. Maybe I don't quite have it in me to sling it with the rest of them anymore. The crowd boos as he pauses and waits for them to quiet. And maybe they're right.
Some more boos as Manor motions for them to quiet down. But if there's anyone who can bounce back from nothing, you can bet your ass, it's me! Now sure I didn't come in first at Collision Course. And The Avenger beat Manor one-on-one for the first time. Manor holds his hand up motioning for people to wait.
But, it's time to focus on two things. The first is something I've done since my return, so no point in mentioning. But the second, is to make my intention clear. Brent Starr holds something I want. Something I plan to have at some point. So enjoy the fact you shaved Fyre's head. Enjoy the fact that you and Cage whipped my ass at Collision Course in that tag match, but you will be a victim of the curse again.
Manor lowers the mic as Manor gets a loud mixed reaction from people who wanted to see him win the big one again, but didn't want to see Starr lose it either. He motions for them to quiet down as he raises the mic again. Normally, this is the part where I walk to the back after ending my time on a high note and go do whatever. Maybe I'd take the night off tonight, but I've never been one for traditions or doing the logical thing. So how about, we get someone out here to challenge me to a match. We already have enough insanity and chaos around here, lets add some more to the mix. Manor lowers the mic and motions for someone to come out there. He felt more energetic than usual as he waited impatiently for someone.

The mournful sounds of a biwa fill the arena,as the stage area fills with a dense fog. Though the fog appears Sentoryu. He stands and his arm raises. He points down to the ring at Manor.
Manor you have made it your mission to bring my name up at every turn since your return. Sentoryu is this and that. But I have heard this type of conjecture since day one here. So Manor tell me ,tell these fans, what is it you want from me? Do you think you are my equal? or like so many other that have come and gone, do you think you are superior?

Manor remains silent at first before raising his mic. That is a difficult question to answer. Superior to your. When it comes to actual in ring ability, despite beating you in my return, I'd say no. Manor gets some cheers from the crowd for it, as well as some boos. You are without a doubt a wrestler, and as I've said over and over, what I am is an entertainer. I get my ass kicked and do what I can to overcome the odds and piss people off. It's really the only reason people pay to see me.
Another pause before he continues. But when it comes to other parts of this business. Like getting into your mind with words alone making you want to kick my head off? Without a doubt I'm superior.
Manor leans against the ropes facing towards the stage. See, Sentoryu it's not that I don't respect your in ring skill. It's not even that you're a liar. That's the nature of the business. What I don't respect is that you try to say you're honorable. At the end of the day, what matters most to you, is yourself and elevating yourself. This time he gets boos for once again calling Sentoryu a liar.
Some people have talked about you as the new Avenger at one point. The new face who would be the definitive good guy in this place. I have a different comparison in mind and I'll sum it up with one word. Genesis. Manor lowers the mic this time to let Sentoryu respond. The smirk was gone as he waited for Sentoryu's response to not only being called a liar once again, but this time being compared to Genesis.

Sentoryu shift slightly. Really uncertain how to respond. Should he be insulted by this or should he take it as a complement? Slowly starts to descend toward the ring. As he does he wonders why Manor has chosen him to target. Why Sentoryu of all people would he have issue with? Stopping half way to the ring. Sentoryu again pauses.
Manor I do not know if I am supposed to be insulted or thankful. But to touch on one point of interest first. Is it not my job to elevate myself to the highest peak I can attain here in I:W? At the end of the day regardless if your honorable or a sniveling coward. Is that not what you really are after in the long run. Fame ,glory, and all the things that can be attained in it's wake?
I have been given the title as honorable. Others around me proclaim me an honorable man. Most think that is how a Japanese man is supposed to live his life as. I am just a simple man I am not a super hero. I strive to give my best each and every day. Sometimes i succeed , other days i fail. I am human. I have flaws.

Manor raises his mic. Without a doubt it's an insult. It's like being compared to Lionheart. Sure those two have made their contributions, but at the end of the day, they both are or were or whatever, delusional egos. Two guys who, like you said they aren't or weren't selfish, yet all they look out for is themselves.
See your job isn't to raise yourself. Your job is to contribute to this company making money so it can stay alive. If you don't do that, then you shouldn't have a job. But making money isn't what this is about. I'll give you you're due. You've benefited IW, had some good things going.
A pause from Manor. But you've insulted me several times. And they may seem minor to others, but to me they might as well be acts of war. And it begins now. How about next PPV, we have ourselves a match. The rules and stipulations to be decided at a later date, but right now set in stone, Manor versus Sentoryu at the PPV.
Between now and then we're free to choose how we prepare for it. You can take the week off. Show a video of you training. Do interviews. You can even have a match with someone else. Whatever it is you choose, but we don't meet again one-on-one until the PPV. A whole month to prepare for our match instead of a week. What does the black-hearted liar, Sentoryu have to say about that? While they don't support the things Manor has said about Sentoryu, the crowd cheers at the idea of seeing Sentoryu face Manor again at the PPV as they wait for Sentoryu's response.

Sentoryu slowly reaches behind his head, as he does he bows his head. His hair falls into his eyes. His hands expertly move over the ties to his mask,in one motion he flips his hair back and the mask comes off. Kenji,Dice-K's man servant comes down the ramp as Sentoryu lowers the mask to his side. Kenji retrieves it from Kenshin's hand. Kenshin's eyes sparkle in the spotlights, his face is wearing a broad smile. Now Kenshin starts to remove the top part of his Mokushi attire, soon followed by the legging. Soon Kenji is weighted down by the Sentoryu gimmick. Kenshin strides to the ring ,shooting under the ropes he then stands in front of Manor. Kenshin's youthful appearance belies his extensive in ring experience. For a man of such a tender age he has seen and done many great things.
Manor as I stand before you, as a man. Yes just a man, not as a gimmick that was given to me by two of the greatest warriors that ever stepped between those ropes.
I will have a match with you any time any place any where.
When I came to America to start my Musha shugyō, my samurai warrior's quest or pilgrimage, I as shugyōsha, wandered from company to company practicing and honing my skills without the protection of family or school, I entered OWN and beat everyone until the fateful day I crossed paths with one of great skill in Sylas Styles. After a series of matches he approached me in coming and plying my skills in TNB. That I did, which soon after I defeated OWN's promoter, who was the Undisputed champion here at the time.
I became what the company needed me to become at the time. I defended the title with honor. I did not hide behind the title ,like some have done here of late, I defended it every week. Soon management came to me and wanted me to drop the title to Lionheart, which I also did, not once but twice. I towed the company line. I defended It, when I regained it, with honor and grace. Everyone on the roster at the time called me a transistional champion, a flash in the pan. I have even heard them use one trick pony with a limited arsenal. One by one over the course of that season, each and everyone that stood in this ring fell to my so called 3 moves. The fans took to me and called me a honorable warrior , the future of this business.
But as it happens, being a young man things went to me head and the prolonged exposure to American styles , had effected me. Lionheart screwing me out of the title without notice that the match was for the title,so he could elevate and dysfunctional midcarder, in Ryan Blaze, a reward for all his work for TNB over the years, broke me slightly. 2011 you see was the unleashing of all the emotions that were built with in me in 2010. I wanted Lionheart by any means. The fact that he was now retired just did not click. So I refused to fight my own fights and got a hammer to do the work, as I focused on getting Lionheart in my grasp. I destroyed Fuyuki Kami and lost focus enough that Dice took my mask and hair.
Big did what I needed him to do, he took the undisputed title from Blaze, effectively blocking Genesis from getting it. Sadly I also had K drop Scorpion. After that match my hate broke. I decided it was too much and sent K to drop the title to Avenger, and went home to Japan.
Manor, history class is now out. You may have the opinion that I am a liar , and have no honor. What gives you the right to bring me up at all? You have done nothing for four years. While I was here laboring away, trying to get established here in America. You were bitching and moaning about things not going the way you wanted and you took you ball and went home. You tried New York they laughed you out of the company. Not once but twice.
You came back to Atlanta and tried to become relevant again by dropping my name at every turn. You seem to target myself right from the first day you walked into the back stage area of the I:W show. Why me?
You call me unhonorable. In 2010 if it was not for me having the honor to give Lionheart his time in the sun and step away from the title would he have ever held the top title in his own company? Would have Jeff Pryce ever stepped out from the shadow of Scorpion? Would Ryan Blaze have ever gotten the chance to shine in a mani event?
You are here to use me as a short cut to relevance once more. I am o.k. with that. I am ,if anything a company man. I know what it is like to hold the top title here and be seen as the man.
I have heard the whispers of people calling me the next Avenger.
I do not want to be the next Avenger. I want to be the best Sentoryu, the best Kenshin Uesugi I can be.
The fact of the matter Manor, I truly do not care if you seen me as a man without honor. A man that is out for himself. You can compare me to Lionheart and Genesis all you like. Both of those men went to other companies and have left an imprint on them. They may not have been huge imprints but at least they are known there. What have you done outside the fish bowl that is I:W? Nothing as far as I have seen. If I went to New York 2.0 and said I Sentoryu have battled the great and awesome Manor, would I get a cheer from the crowds or would it be more like the chirping of crickets?
Kenshin lowers his mic,as he does a sadness sweeps across his face as he looks at Manor. Did this man understand that Kenshin has respect for what Manor had done in the days of TNB1 but that was a faded memory to most if not all of the current fans of I:W.

Manor raises his mic. Yes, after TNB closed its doors in 07 for the first time, I did absolutely nothing. The only people I've beaten were nobodies. I only wrestled for small time titles since 07. I am the epitome of a washed-up has-been. A chuckle from Manor as he pauses before continuing.
See this is the great thing about being me. I can wrestle for world titles. I can have a who's who list in who I've beaten. No matter what I do, I'm the underdog. I'm the unknown. Essentially I am the new blood in the match.
I earned everything I gained and even turned some of it down. I didn't have a beast earn things for me even at my worst. I didn't disrespect my predecessors by coming out here appearing like a crumpled up piece of paper.
Everything I say, whether true or not, gets to you. Otherwise, you wouldn't be out here. My shortcut to relevance as you put it, is yours as well. After all, Sentoryu just isn't the star he used to be. Constantly coming up short. Starr doing in one night, what you failed to do in at the very least a month. I'm someone who can bring you to the forefront again and you know it. With that Manor lowers the mic as Divide plays. He starts Sentoryu in the eyes a bit, before dropping the mic and making his exit. Pausing at the stage, he turns to face the ring as he raises his arm. He lowers it and makes his way backstage.

Sentoryu nods to Kenji. Looking around at the fans as Kenji rolls into the ring. Kenji hands Sentoryu his gear. Quickly he puts the attire back where it was. Stopping he looks to the stage as he watches Manor disappear though the curtains. His mask hangs in his hand by his side.
Manor you can walk away from me, turn your back on the man. But you can not turn your back on what lays before you. The path you have taken, to get to where Starr is now. Your short cut back to get your hands on that title belt again.
You tout Starr for doing what I could not. So be it . You will not walk past me in one night. If you think you will have one match with me and then talk your way into a title match, you are thoroughly mistaken.
If you do get past me at the P.P.V. you will not be the same man you were when you come down that aisle and though these ropes to battle me. Starr may have beaten Angel Fyre for the title. But Angel Fyre is not who you will have to worry about, nor will it be Starr. You think your words have bothered me? No not really, They like the words of Mr. Showtime, Adrian Kincade, and so many others that have down played my very existence here in IW. They are just breaths of air from the mouths of people that do nothing but talk. Talk is cheap. Like the old joke goes. "Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
Your words are just that an opinion of an asshole.
Dropping the mic, Sentoryu slips back under the mask and rolls out of the ring . Kenji huffs and puffs behind him as Sentroyu jumps the barrier and is enveloped by the fans.
