"All Good Things Must Come To An End..."
- 1374 (Chaucer)
The night was still young. The night had turned cold and rainy. Hidden beneath the storm clouds. The moon was fully alive in all its glory. Mother Earth was running wild on this night. The winds began to pick up steam. The rain began to fly sideways. Stinging everything in sight upon impact with the flesh.
All this this, simply a prelude of the storm that was about to take place in mere moments.
The men who had made their mark and intentions known earlier in the night. Were about to officially succeed in their mission. The men known as "The Magnificent Se7en" had arrived to the loading dock in two distinct, Armored Black Vehicles. In one of these cars, was the body of Genesis.
As the vehicles parked one in front of the other. Each of the seven men stepped out. Once the final man got out of the second vehicle. The ring leader motioned to the tallest individual of the group to open the trunk of the first vehicle. When he does. We see the unconscious, battered, beaten, bruised and seemingly lifeless body of Genesis. Hands & Feet were bound. Still wearing the wrestling attire he had on from earlier in the evening. Cuts & Lacerations could be seen from his forehead down to his legs.
Two of the Mag7 pulled Genesis out and tossed him on the ground. Like he was big, steaming pile of garbage. These men obviously had no respect for the human race. They each seemed to take pride in the work they have done. One of the men untied Genesis' arms and legs. While one of the others picked up a stick nearby. Than proceeded to poke him with it in a dark, humorous fashion.
After this, Gen's eyes began to open. Seeing double of everything around him. The ring leader of the group kneels down to him, and says with a sickening grin:
Ring Leader: "If there is any consolation to this night for you, Genny my boy? You can still have a way to bring a smile to my face "old friend", ha-ha-ha!
Telling Genesis he was his 'old friend' may someday lead to his identity. There was no question about it now. This man, and the six that stood behind him. All have been affected by Genesis in some way over the last seven years. The 'ring leader' of the group, punches Genesis once more across the face. As he does so, blood begins to trickle down from his nose & mouth. Genesis starts to cough. Before faintly telling the masked se7en:
Genesis: "Heh-Heh... I never pictured my life would end like this. Who would've funk it. Genesis' life ends by the hands of se7en masked cowards."
Genesis smiled, as he spit blood into the face of the ring leader. He smiled... for one last time. Before the ring leader for a brief moment pulled his mask up. Just enough for Genesis to see his face. As Genesis faded into unconsciousness, he says:
Genesis:"I-I knew it was 'you'. It's been a very long time, hasn't it? Rest assure... one day... the truth will come out. Someday, somehow. Someone is going to rise from the ashes & stop you!
After this, Genesis closed his eyes and passed out. The ring leader lowers his mask and gives the nod to the other members to pick up Genesis. As they do so. They carry him to the end of the dock. Than proceed to toss his body into the cold, dark river.
Ring Leader: "Men... if there is anything we have accomplished tonight. We've rid the world of a cancer. For seven long years. This man has brought nothing but pain and misery to our lives, and to the lives of many others. We've done what no other man has been able to accomplish to this pathetic, so-called "King of Controversy". Tonight... we have silenced him forever. By our hands. He is dead.
After tonight, their will be no turning back. We've accomplished our main objective. Now, I say we have a little 'fun'. Remember... we're not here to take over, only to destroy. Understand? That my friends... is what will set us apart from the past. For anyone else that will dare cross us. May god have mercy on each and every one of there pathetic souls...
As these men turned to walk away from the scene of the crime. The weather began to intensify. The rain began to pour harder. The wind began to shift and twist. The thunder and lightning grew fierce.
Genesis was shown floating along the river. On the outside, Genesis appeared to be no more. But inside, his mind began to race with thoughts and memories of the past. All the negatives that seemingly outweighed the positives he's brought to the table. All within' a uthoric, dream state of mind.
***Dream State***
In his mind. Genesis began to see his 'past' flash before his eyes. Men that he had wronged, screwed over or in general, brought harm to. There words echoed through his brain over & over again. Like nails to a chalkboard.
Brent Starr:"He's lost his credibility to me as a viable challenge, or opponent. He's a free agent now, and he'll try to float on with his long list of past accomplishments, but his resume should be highlighted and bold fonted at the end with the fact he's bitched out every time he was supposed to face the man he made a career out of trying to be, and never measured up to being."
Chris Lionheart:"No one man is bigger than this company. No one man will hold this company hostage again. And no one will use Chris Lionheart like a stepping stone ever again!"
Minion:"you are the "King" of NOTHING!"
Jeff Kain: "genesis tactic of promo- say shit, run off so no1 can respond, ? ? ? failure. no profit."
"Double S" Shia Storm: " Your career is buried while bursting in flames! Pleasure doing business with ya"
The Avenger: " The Avenger can remember when you were a lost kid looking for help. You had a bunch of Kiss band wannabes after you. And not knowing if you were trying to get at me or needed my help, the Avenger went out and gave you the help you needed. If it wasn't for The Avenger, you would be as good as dead my friend."
As if his body had not gone through enough pain and torture. Now his conscious was being f***ed with from every direction. When Genesis heard these voices ring out through his head. All he could do was simply... agree.
Genesis: "Even in death, you bastards still find a way to piss me off, don't you? *chuckles* I know it means nothing now. But... *sighs* you guys were right. Maybe it was my anger, my ego, my selfish desires to be the one and only best wrestler on the planet that had blinded me from doing the right thing for all these years. Let my death be the reward for all the pain and misery I've caused.
Than... as if from out nowhere. A mysterious voice began to speak to Genesis.
"Looks like you finally see the light, huh Genesis?
Genesis looks up, to see who stood before him. Dressed in a white suit. Looking the same as he did the day he passed on. Was Brandon Payne. The man that died by the hands of Genesis himself, and also, the very 'doppelganger' that portrayed him during his formative years.
Brandon Payne's Death
Genesis: "What the hell do you want, Payne? You here to laugh and poke fun at me too!?"
Payne shakes his head and folds his arms. As he replied.
Brandon Payne: "On the contrary, Genesis. I'm here to..."
Suddenly... the world around Genesis began to spin and shake out of control. Like an Earthquake of unspeakable magnitude. The image of Brandon Payne, and the others that appeared in front of Genesis in this 'state of mind' vanished. Genesis began to look all around him. Frightened at what he was experiencing.
***Back to Reality***
As the Magnificent Se7en begin to enter there vehicles. Suddenly... a lightning bolt crashes down from the sky. Striking the body of Genesis, and lighting up the river with a golden, white aura. The sound, the force of this was enough to be heard around the globe. The Mag7 quickly turn around to see what happened.
Ring Leader: "Hmph! It's bad when even the 'man upstairs' hates your guts too. C'mon! Lets get out of here. Shows over."
Each of the men quickly loaded up into the two vehicles. Than speed off out of the Loading Dock as quickly as they could. In the meantime. Genesis was experiencing an unimaginable, sheer amount of pain from that bold of lightning. He opened his eyes and screamed as loud as he could. As the shock waves began to pulse through every core of his body for what seemed like eternity. After about a minute of this. The pain subsided. Genesis was wide awake... but only to fall back into unconsciousness. As he began to slowly creep into the abyss.
Is he dead?
Is he alive?
Lest you be the judge.
***The End (for now)***
