Biography:
On July 21, 1988, Ryan Anthony Pierce was born into the Pierce family. He was the first child of two with his younger sister, Skyy, being a year younger than he was. Money had always been very tight for the Pierce family, but things always seemed to work out in the end. His father had been laid off twice but eventually got a steady job at a car repair shop. His mother worked two jobs, one at the local hospital and the other at the bank. With both of his parents usually gone during the day and night, Ryan practically raised himself and also Skyy. Though his family struggled, Ryan learned one very valuable thing from his parents; always work hard and everything will work on in the end. They always told him to follow his dreams and never look back.
Ryan had two dreams that he never let go. The first was to play in the MLS and the second was to become a professional wrestler. He also had another interest which was working on cars and racing them, but that seemed to come naturally to him. In order to play in the MLS and become a professional wrestler, he had to work hard and put in the extra hours. So along with taking care of himself and Skyy, Ryan also worked a part time job at the local car shop, went to school, practiced soccer, and practiced wrestling. He was always busy but he always found spare time to hang with friends and also help Skyy with her dream of playing in the WNBA.
Things did begin to turn in the right direction for the family when Ryan’s father received a job position with NASCAR as a mechanic. Although this meant he wouldn’t be around very much, he received a much larger paycheck which helped the family pay off bills easier. It also allowed Ryan’s mom to leave the bank job and work only at the hospital which allowed her more time at home with Ryan and Skyy. Things continued to get better when Ryan was offered a full scholarship to the University of North Carolina to play soccer. He also received more scholarships from other prestigious schools but committed to UNC. Skyy also received a full scholarship from Boston College to play basketball. Their parents were very proud of their children since they practically took care of themselves and are continuing on with their dreams. Not only did they receive full scholarships, but the two also received various awards for their academic excellence.
While at UNC, Ryan made friends with upperclassman and fellow teammate, Romeo Davis. One day after practice, the two were talking and Ryan mentioned that he not only played soccer but also wrestled. The two hit it off even more since Romeo was a wrestler whom was in training and looking to join a business once he graduated. From that point on Romeo began helping Ryan with his wrestling and the two often wrestled against each other to test the other’s skills. Eventually Romeo graduated and went off to Europe to train before eventually joining a wrestling business. Ryan continued to train by himself on the side with his main focus on school work and soccer. He still had his main dream which was to make it into the MLS. Ryan then graduated from UNC and was projected to be the 3rd overall pick in the MLS SuperDraft. This was truly a great moment for Ryan, but he decided not to enter the draft. Though his main dream was that he wanted to play in the MLS, he wanted to wrestle even more at that moment. So with wrestling set as his dream, he continued to train and eventually signed with TNB wrestling where he would begin his wrestling career.
