Character History & Biography:
Haven is living the life of a superstar right now. It's visible in the way he moves, talks and the trophy women he sports. In fact, many sense a possible future in the movie industry by this time next year. He has already reached Rockstar status in his own mind, and one look at him and you can see it too.
But Brandon's life and career wasn't always this lavish.
Before the fast cars and even faster women, Brandon lead a dull and mundane life. He and his brother, Justin were raised alone by their mother; Helena Haven, but they never wanted for much as their mother always seemed to have money. They never once remembered seeing their mother actually work however....
Brandon's father in what was told to him and Justin, was a car salesman and died in a car accident he was giving a test drive in. The boys only knew of him through pictures their mother kept. Only later in his early teens passing by an old antique shop would he learn the truth about his father; in the middle of what seemed to be a nearly completely faded promotional flier, stood his father! "Heavenly" Hank Haven as the nearly destroyed flier exclaimed, was to defend his belt against the man known only as Tombstone. Brandon couldn't believe his eyes; his father was the Heavyweight Champion in a now extinct wrestling federation known as the EWEF (Elite Wrestling Entertainment Federation)!
Now on cloud nine after reading this, Brandon could barely contain himself. He made his way back home to show his brother of what he had learned, and then came to the conclusion that they had to confront their mother on this.
After a few denials Helena confessed to lying to the boys, and let them in on the truth; their father was indeed the Champion known as "Heavenly" Hank Haven.
Hoping to avoid the boys following in their father's footsteps, she decided it was best that they never knew of this.
Asking her what had really happened to their pop, Helena told them of the last match Hank would ever have; a match unfortunately titled "Judgment Day".
In what was supposed to be a standard hardcore match, in which the final blow was scripted to have the wrestler Tombstone hit Hank over the head with a "fixed" sledgehammer, and then pin him, was instead the real thing.
Believing Hank to have "sold" the move that cost him his Championship, the officials and paramedics were in no rush to help him. Helena currently pregnant with Justin at the time, was sitting in the front row, as she had always done for Hank's matches, knew something was wrong though.
As she sat there, she saw Hank's once dancing eyes all of a sudden.....lifeless.
She screamed for them to help him, and upon hearing her pleas for help the medics checked on Hank to find that he had no pulse.
After Hank's passing, and funeral, Helena sued the EWEF for wrongful death, and emotional stress, in which the court awarded her the lump sum total of $75.5 Million. This price of course, was too steep for the EWEF to pay, as well as continue with their business. The once quick up and coming federation had to close it's doors.
Now with many thoughts dancing around in Brandon's head, he decided he would follow in his father's footstep's despite not having his mother's blessing.
Seeing his older brother so eager to jump into wrestling, Justin quickly followed suit.
Knowing that the headstrong boys would do this even if inadequately trained, Helena signed them up, and payed for their training at the iconic, World Grand Prix Wrestling School, and to be trained personally by the legendary, Jonathan Holliday.
The boys were naturals, with Brandon learning the ropes a little faster than Justin. Brandon soon developed his own style of wrestling.
The boys traveled the globe wrestling and showcasing their natural abilities at several Indy wrestling federations as a tag team.
The once dull and mundane life of Brandon was now a thing of the past.
He loved it. He loved everything about wrestling; the fans, the adrenaline rush that he'd get, and the women....so many women.
Before long, Brandon and Justin were headlining shows and filling seats at major stadiums.
But that's also the sad conclusion of the boys wrestling career together.
The stardom was too much for Brandon. He lost much of what used to be himself, and Justin saw it.
Justin tried confronting Brandon on this, and it turned into a brawl, with the two declaring never to work together again, and Justin disowning Brandon. This was the end of the high-flying team known as "15 Minutes of Fame".
Now alone, Brandon decided to change his image; he was no longer to be known as Brandon Haven, brother to Justin J. Haven and son of the legendary "Heavenly" Hank Haven.....
Brandon was now only known as "Haven".
Determined to outshine his brother, Haven went on to join the WFC (World Federation of Champions) where he quickly rose in the ranks, and claimed the Light Heavyweight title.
No longer feeling challenged there, Haven went on to destroy the competition in several other feds, and claimed their titles. Hungry for more, and trying to live up to his father's legacy, Haven set his sight's on conquering the GCW federation.
Quickly capturing the attention of the Titans there, as well as the fans, Haven quickly learned a lesson in humility by the hands of "Brent Starr".
After facing that hard defeat, Haven decided to switch gears and formed a partnership (albeit brief) with Starr, in which the two did many shady things.
Though in this partnership, Haven and Starr maintained a healthy solo career.
Haven would quickly rise to challenge for GCW's Mid Atlantic Championship, only to be defeated by GCW's champion.
Much later, Haven would be placed in an six man elimination bout for the Mid Atlantic belt, with the shocking announcement that his partner, Starr would now also be a foe.
As fate would have it, Starr and Haven were the last two remaining in this bout, and after a battle that went back and forth, Starr would leave the ring as the new MA Champion.
With a heavy heart, and a great feeling of disappointment, Haven continued on and moved on to the highest title offered at GCW. Destiny it seems, did not favor him there either, as he lost the chance to take it home.
Moving in again to try and claim the belt, GCW was racked with financial woes that forced them to close their doors much too soon.
Haven now wondering if he should hang up the boots or not, packed his things and left Chicago to head back to the sunny city of Hollywood, when he received a call from the former Titan and fan favorite, "Joe the Bruiser" challenging him to sign up with TNB Wrestling...
With a smirk, Haven accepted.
Fast forward to TNB a week later and Haven was fast making new enemies.
Though his fan base grew, so did his loss record. Going so far as to even be defeated by Francis Dupree, Haven had hit an all time low.
To make matters worse, Haven had seemed to pick a fight with one of the Xavier brothers inciting a feud over supposedly being cheated out of the Ruler of the Ring tournament.
Time and time again, Haven came short against him, leading to the eventual alignment between himself, Brent Starr and Ryan Blaze.
Making their grand stand to takeover TNB, the trio declared war on all who stood in their way.
A little while later in the year, Lionheart had been attacked by two masked men and injured.
Upset about this, he walks out to the ring and calls out Ryan Blaze and Haven.
The three mixed words and agreed to meet at TNB's last event of the year...Night Of Legends.
Having vanished for a while after NoL, Haven dedicates himself to more training and more ferocity while waiting for next years show to start up...
The return trip to Hollywood
That trip however was delayed for as of yet, unexplained reasons. Haven did not participate in the 2010 season of TNB, except near the end of the season to enter into a challenge made by the current champion, Sentoryu, in which he ultimately came up short.
With mysterious issues abound, The Wrestling Rockstar is "forced" into the ring again for the 2011 season. Though winning the Gold seems his outward goal, the prize money behind winning, and being the Champion is what he truly seeks.
