Name:
Bobby Williams
Basics:
22 years old, 5'6'' heavyweight wrestler from Manchester, England. Bobby uses a combination of suplex's, powerslams, powerbombs, tombston piledrivers to soften up his opponents before hitting the Spinebuster signiature move to set up the Swinging Neckbreaker finisher he took in tribute to his father Keith Williams after his passing.
Bobby Williams was head-hunted to TNB by Lucy Youngblood in 2009, against his father's wishes. Keith Williams had felt his son was not yet ready for the wrestling business and the harshness of it. It was revealed at Royal Bash 2009 that whilst a younger Chris Lionheart was training under Keith Williams, he botched a move, which had tragic consequences for The Williams'. Due to Lionheart's mistake, Bobby Williams was left without a mother. Reportedly he has never forgiven Lionheart for that, despite pretending having done so for his father's benefit on a number of occasions.
I:W History (plus Accolades & Titles if applicable):
1x TNB World Class champion.
Defeated Tyler McMoore 19-18 in the ''Keith Williams Tribute Match''
Despite always being 'around', Bobby didn't do very much in front of a TV camera in 2009, but towards the end of 2010 that would change in a big way. The crazed Ryan Blaze would kidnap the young Williams in a ploy to lure Chris Lionheart into a trap, and beat Bobby a lot, injuring him. This incident was said to be the breaking point in the relationship between Lionheart and Keith Williams, whom had always previously looked after his trainee's best interests and had forgiven him for the death of his wife. In turn, Lionheart had made Keith TNB's official trainer when Keith received his own career-ending injury in 2007, no questions asked, as a way to try to make up for past wrongs. Keith was determined not to lose his son to another Lionheart mistake, and by the end of 2010 he had seized control of the company from Lionheart, whom was retired from in-ring competition when he was bested by Ryan Blaze at Rise To Stardom 2: Blaze Of Glory.
In 2010 Bobby Williams was finally ready to take his first real steps out onto the main stage of the pro wrestling world. Although he usually threw his father's position of authority around, booking matches as though he himself had the power, for the brief time he competed he was very active, involved in multiple-person matches revolving around the World Class title and contendership for it. Bobby suffered an injury at May's TNB Abomination pay per view which put him on the sidelines, but it would not be the only heartache he felt this year. A mere two months later, at July's TNB AllStars, his father committed suicide Live on Pay Per View! Since that time the young man's life has been turned upside down, and hardly anyone has been able to contact him, despite several attempts to reach out to him - including Chris Lionheart himself. All that is known for certain right now is that Bobby is signed with TNB Wrestling throughout 2012. But weather he will return to TV is a mystery...
In early 2011 Bobby stunned family friend Lucy Youngblood by taking Arianna as a manager over her. Lucy fired-back by returning to England and recruiting Tyler McMoore. Williams and McMoore would face-off against one another in Britain at I:W's Survive & Conquer Pay Per View. The 60 minute Iron Man match was in memory of Keith Williams, and Bobby beat Tyler by the skin of his teeth with a back suplex pin at 23 seconds left, making the score 19-18.
Character's Current Activities:
Bobby occasionally shows-up in FallOut matches, as the first participant, but it is clear that this young man is searching for direction, and won't make a 'real' comeback until he feels he can do his father's memory proud.
Status of Character:
Much like the In Character response of what the character is up to currently, I am open the idea of Bobby comming back to I:W, but only if there is a way to make him into a full-fledged character that is capable of filling Keith's boots. I think that perhaps doing him as part of a tag team, with someone controlling the other tag partner may be the way to go.
