Host: Welcome to another episode of Wrestling Insider. I’m your host Larry and we have a special treat today. Here with me, is none other than Scott Manor, better known to some as Maniac. Welcome to the show, it’s great to have you.
Manor: It’s great to be here. Been a while since I did one of these.
Host: Indeed. It’s been great to see you back in the biz even in a non-wrestling role.
Manor: Well maybe by working with the biz more, I’ll get that itch again *laughs*
Host: We always hope. Anyways, IW recently had it’s first show back on American soil. Care to share your opinions on how you think it went?
Manor: I think overall, it was a success. The Amazons performed well. Had in my opinion a major upset. Entertaining matches all around.
Host: Well which for you was your favorite match?
Manor: That’s a tough one. I gotta go with Leon Graves and his upset victory. I mean watching him take that beating and still pull out the win. It brought back some memories *laughs*
Host: *laughs* I personally loved the battle Royal.
Manor: Indeed that was a good one was were the Amazon matches.
Host: True, but I have to ask since you‘ve been so vocal about Sentoryu, what did you think of his win over Angel? I think it’s great to see him working to redeem himself and towards recapturing the gold
Manor: Meh. I mean yeah sure, he’s only one title reign from having as many as me, but I don’t see him as Gladiator Champion material.
Host: Don’t you mean he’s tied you in world title reigns?
Manor: Only if you count the one that was given to him by that big guy’s work. And if he were really as honorable as he says, he wouldn’t count it.
Host: But given his previous track records, he should prove to be a good champion who does good things for the belt. He dominated IW in 2010, do you think he’ll be able to do the same thing if he had the belt again?
Manor: Truthfully? No, I don’t. The company had great talent back then, it’s true. But they lacked depth that they’ve been gaining back. That makes it harder to hold the title. Yeah, he’s beaten Avenger and Lionheart and that’s a great testament to him. But what happens if he steps in the ring with someone like me?
Host: What do you mean? With all due respect, Lionheart and Avenger were bigger IW icons than you.
Manor: And I don’t dispute that. I agree fully, that you think of them before me when thinking of IW. Not to mention most would probably agree that they're more talented wrestlers than m. However, my point is that I’m different from them in how I go about business, and there are people like me out there. And simply put, I don’t think he could beat someone who thinks like I do when it comes to a fight or a war.
Host: I see. Well that’s all the time we have for this episode. We hope to see you back in our studio sometime, Manor. And for our listeners, be sure to tune in for our next broadcast. Wrestling Insider out.
