Not quite what I was expecting. But he's got some of the same feelings I have for how it should be done. Though being a biased "thinker of the here and now" he didn't put much into the idea
Well, if we're getting Punk as leader, then these would be my choices from the active roster.
Joe Hennig (Perfect chance to go to his real name, and use it effectively)
Seth Rollins/Tyler Black
Kassius Ohno/Chris Hero
I'd only go with 4 people. You let these four run rampant, dropping some bombs on the roster, and it'll be extremely effective. Why does it need to be WWE established people. It's NEW World Order. Hence bringing up Rollins and Hero. Both are capable of being on the main roster, both are captivating talents who can keep your attention. We know Punk/Hero gel together extremely well, so the potential down the road for their rivalry to come from a break up is there. McGillicuty can work, and he can cut some great promos. Punk is a huge fan of his, and can give him the tips needed to take that next step forward.
The potential for greatness is there, and I'd tune in JUST for this if it happened.

Just a reminder: I am always taking column ideas. Day or night, it is very easy to reach me. Follow/contact me on Twitter @justinwatry! Email me at jw_bball_615@hotmail.com - it takes 30 seconds out of your day. There are a few topics that are coming this, but they will be saved for Wednesday. Today, I decided to answer yet another Twitter request.
As most have read, Kevin Nash recently hinted at yet another nWo invasion for either WWE or TNA. Based on many of his past tweets, I ignored the news. He has been known to just post "stuff" online for kicks and get a reaction. None of his ideas or thoughts ever mean much. Again, people wonder why I do not follow any WWE/TNA talents on Twitter. He is a prime example - just a random array of tweets with no meaning/direction.
Needless to say, I ignored the "story." There was nothing to report on, so it served no purpose for me to even waste the time. Then I looked at my Twitter mentions...
Myke Mochan (@1manhorrormovie): What are your feelings on a CM Punk lead nWo? Who would you include and why?
Dang it.
I ignored the story for days. I deemed it pointless. I didn't care for any Kevin Nash tweets before and won't start now. However, I was trapped. Love me or hate me, I always try to give my readers what they want. A request was made, so I will follow through. It's that easy! Do not hesitate to do the same in the future.
First, I will just say that I do NOT want to see any form of the New World Order return. Even with Punk as their leader, I do NOT wish to see it. Nash going to TNA and some other form of "invasion" would be even worse. Please no!
As most know, I am not a fan of "fantasy booking." I live in the real world, not some la-la land where imagination vetoes realism. Even discussing the nWo returning to WWE with CM Punk as the leader is very close. The entire premise is fun to think about, but again - I tend to stick to logic, numbers, and facts.
However, a Punk led nWo would need one thing right off the bat:
A former original nWo member!
Just like Ric Flair bridged the gap between the Four Horsemen and Evolution, the "old" nWo would need somebody to transition into the "new" nWo. It is just simple logic and works on many levels. Looking through the original members, you can eliminate two men right away.
Scott Hall should not get anywhere near a WWE ring for at least a few years. He should not even be allowed near the arena. Thus, you can immediately cross him off the list.
Also, you can count out Hulk Hogan. He is with TNA Impact Wrestling and seems to be getting many back surgeries these days. As sad as it is, that is just the cold, hard truth.
That is right folks!
If the nWo were to make a comeback, Kevin Nash would be a MUST. He is available, on good terms with WWE, can cross over to maintream Hollywood in his own limited way, and has history with CM Punk from 2011.
Obviously, he would be the "muscle." Play the bodyguard-type role, stand there, and look tough. Simple enough?
Then you would need some sort of young, cocky heel to play the up and comer. Honestly, I do not follow the indies at all. Again, I am just being honest with everybody here. People seem to love Dean Ambrose and is the "internet darling." Let him join the group and learn from Punk on Raw/Smackdown each and every week...
I do not know if you need another member or not. If so, just throw in a Drew McIntyre or another mid-card wrestler with no direction right now. Yes, I am assuming this would be a heel stable. With those three (or four), you could have some interesting matches and promos. Plus, everybody serves their role in building the future of the business. They would all stick together and take over the WWE....4LIFE!
As you can probably tell, I do not enjoy "fantasy booking." Some live and die by some sort of alternate universe, not me. I like to stick to factual information, logic, and maming sense. In other words, the real world!
Do I want to see the nWo return to WWE? No.
Will they ever appear again? Never say never...
