As this week's Showdown continued to roll on through as usual. Without any music, nor fanfare. Genesis made his way to the ring from the crowd. Dressed in street clothing. He had not been seen since his two public outbursts. One, most notably on camera where he ranted about the TNB days. The other, took place on a Social Media Network.
Due to these incidents. He was rumored to have been fired. Others said he quit.
Genesis was here to clear the air on a few things. Whenever Genesis gets on a microphone. The people listened, and paid attention. Tonight was certainly going to be no different.
Gen. grabbed a microphone. He had a very, poetic solemn look on his face. Like he dreaded what he was about to say. Maybe acting a little hesitant? Though he struggled at first to get the first few words out. He mustered up the courage to speak:
Genesis: "To say its been a very trying... and termultious last several days would be an understatement. I'm not going to stand out here and 'rehash' what has already been said or done. Unless you lived under a rock. You guys know what took place between this arena, and over on Facebook.
I've come out here to apologize publicly for my actions. A part of me? feels that I did what I needed to do, and that my actions were justified."

Genesis "However... by the same token. What I did was completely unprofessional. I lost my cool. Which, unfortunately hasn't been the first time. You see, over the years. Its been my anger, and my short temper that's gotten me into these types of situations. 'Act first, think second', would be an understatement."[/color]
Genesis began to pace around the ring. Walking over to where he could look directly into the 'hard camera'. As the camera zoomed in. He continued.
Genesis: "After a couple of days of counseling. It seems as if I'm diagnosed with 'N.P.D'. - Narcissistic Personality Disorder. No need to really explain all the details. Other then its a disorder that causes me to lose my temper. Snap at a moments notice when the wrong word have been said, or if I'm provoked.
Cutting right to the chase. I'm gonna do everything I can to help control my actions, and behavior both inside this ring and outside of it. Now... that doesn't mean Genesis is going 'soft'. That I'm just gonna let somebody walk down here and walk all over me. I'm still going to be the same man you've dealt with in the past. Only a little more tamer, calmer, and smarter then I've ever been in my life.
Before I wrap things up. I wanna address something that was said by Brent Starr the other day. Brent? You had some very... shall we say 'interesting' things to say about me. Some I actually agree with you on. Others? Ehhhh, not so much.
I'm not going to get into those subjects with you tonight. But rest assure my friend. One day down the road? I know for a fact. You & I? We will have our match in this ring. With, or without your consent. Like you said. Underneath that long resume of mine. Will be in bold... the fact that I have never beaten Brent Starr.
By the same token. Putting your BS aside. We can say the same for you. That underneath that long list of accolades you've achieved? You've never beaten Genesis.
When the time is right? One day... one of us can add that to our credentials. While the loser? Will be forced to live with the shame of being 2nd best.
As for the here & now? I'm only looking forward to what I can bring to the table. I'm starting from the bottom rung. With the plan to work my way back up the food chain. To earn the spotlight back as the best wrestler this company has ever seen!"[/color]
With that. Genesis tosses down the microphone and exits the ring. As he high fives a couple of fans. While he proceeded to make his way up the rampway. The camera's then faded to black for a quick commercial break.[/center]
