E3 is upon us, and I already have a small army of games I am interested in checking-out in 2012/2013 before the next generation of consoles hits. After some money problems I've also cleared-out some of the games I knew I would never get around to playing, realistically. So I figured it was time to draw up a revised list of what I have in my collection, and get cracking on the old backlog.
Backlog Blitz Rules: * If you finish a game in your backlog, it counts as +1. * If you buy or otherwise acquire a new game, that counts as -1. * The goal is to have as high a number as possible.
Note: To 'finish' a game simply means that you're not prepared to play it any longer, not necessarily that you've seen the end credits or maxed-out the Achievements/Trophies.

That's kinda bullshit. If you can't finish what you started. Then you might as well not even play the game. Even if it sucks. At least play the game til the end credits roll. Hell, I did that with Duke Nukem of all games a year ago. Sure, it was bad. But I stuck with it til I completed it.

Perhaps. But you know in your heart if you're ever going to play a game again. If you're done with it, you're done with it. No point having it sat on your shelf contributing to your backlog.

I consider games completed when I beat everything inside & out and get all the achievements nowadays on the newer consoles of today.. If I leave it collecting dust then it's incomplete/unfinished to me
I cannot recall all the games I beat from the Atari, Sega Genesis, Nintendo, N64, PS2 days to list them lol.
