The Banquet of Blood (Sentoryu)

[DARKSIDE]

During an exhibition match between two low-card jobbers, a loud crack of thunder rips through the air. It startles the crowd, and the two men in the ring pause to see what's happening. Black smoke starts to billow from underneath the ring apron, and a figure emerges near the announce table side of the ring and quickly rolls into the ring under the bottom rope. As the smoke subsides a bit, the figure is revealed to be Minion. The two jobbers cower and duck out of the ring as he draws near them.

The time has come! We have been chosen. Not by the false "God" Double S...but by fate...to take part in the tournament. We care not for the prize. A strap of leather and gold holds little value to us. No....we seek only carnage. We thirst for the blood of many mortals, and this tournament will be a virtual buffet of brutality for us! The more we succeed, the more the body count will rise. The higher the stack of broken bodies! As we stand atop the landscape, littered with mangled and twisted corpses....we scale the mountain to dethrone the God of Charlatans and claim our place as the "true God" of this world![/b]

The crowd responds with a mixed reaction...

The mortal, this "Double S" must know that WE pose the biggest threat. We assaulted him more relentlessly than any other in his title match last week. We came within inches of defeating him on several occasions. He must have seen this, and that is why he has stacked the odds against us from the beginning. He has already forced us onto a contest with "what's left of".....the one called Sentoryu. A man who our Lord and Father defeated not once, but twice during our tour in Japan.

Now.....it will be OUR TURN!![/b]

Minion bares his teeth as he chuckles with a nasty grin on his face...

[Sentoryu]

Sentoryu jumps down and stands before This wretched tattered figure standing alone in the ring. Slowly he moves in a circle around this creature. Matted hair, mottled skin, tattered and torn denim jeans as an wrestling attire. Shaking his head slowly Sentoryu thought How original. Stopping in front of the man that calls himself minion, Sentoryu pauses in his thoughts.

Satanism advocates practicing a modified form of the Golden Rule. Our interpretation of this rule is: "Do unto others as they do unto you"; because if you "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," and they, in turn, treat you badly, it goes against human nature to continue to treat them with consideration. You should do unto others as you would have them do unto you, but if your courtesy is not returned, they should be treated with the wrath they deserve.

Minion this will be very short and sweet. You will be treated with the wrath you deserve. I have returned to Mexico the land where I first donned the mask. The mask given to me by Master De La Garza. The man that gave me the name i bear to this day . I step into this ring to prove you and the rest of Darkside are nothing inherently sacred . Like the wooden idols of long ago, they are the work of human hands, and what man has made, man can destroy. Before you stands that man, the fighting war dragon Sentoryu. You speak my name with undertones of doubt in my talents. Much like your so called fathers of darkness, you seem to think you are beyond my abilities. Tonight you will taste the truth. Sentoryu removes his mask his hair falls over his face as he bows his head. In one quick motion he flips his hair back to reveal his striking eyes ,which in them dances a intoxicating fire. A quirly grin tugs at the corner of his mouth as his eyes become slits.

Translation if you do not understand, No great sinner escapes Karmic Justice...it matters not what they believe in. You will come to believe in justice Minion, My justice. what will come down upon you tonight will be karmic, They say the truth will set you free. Alas Truth" never set anyone free. It is only *doubt* which will bring mental emancipation.”

Minion snarls and responds in a very angry tone...

DO NOT address us as though we are anything like you, human. Do not preach to us about "golden rules" and "truth". We have no use for these things. Rules and truth are tools of the mortal realm as a means of maintaining order. We come from a place where only cruelty and chaos reign....and it is this that we will bring to your world, Mr. "Dragon Warrior". Cruelty....just as you have suffered most recently. Chaos....as we leave your head spinning with uncertainty and disbelief that such a "lowly being" could have bested you.

That is the pattern we see from all you humans. It's the same everywhere we have been. You are fools who judge us and our kind only by our appearance. You scoff, and call us "make believe". You say we live in a fantasy world and refuse to take us seriously. You underestimate and overlook us....and then, as always, we haunt your every waking hour as you struggle to come to terms with the fact that the very ones you made fun of and laughed at suddenly left you laying in a pool of your own blood and filth.

Mr. Sentoryu. You would do well to take us seriously. When you turn a blind eye to the things we are capable of...to the threat Darkside itself poses to you and anyone in this federation....you have already lost!

Is that why "Father" made you tap so quickly? Is that how you lost that tag team match for your team? I believe you humans would call that "Strike 1 and 2". Perhaps you are not as well bred a warrior as you profess to be. We will see if tonight....the "Dragon Warrior" strikes OUT![/b]

[Sentoryu]

One Two Three.... Minion rolls of Sentoryu and leaps to the top rope teeth bared to the crowd as he taunts them at Sentoryu once more falling to the last of the members of Darkside. Sentoryu rolls to his knees, his hair matted and stringy , dripping sweat and blood to the mat. slowly he gains his footing. This was not a triumphant return to his adopted home. A return to the place of his rebirth as the Fighting War Dragon.

Shaking his head he felt the pain of the loss ever more intensely. because of it. Once more Sentoryu takes of his mask, holding it in his hand he felt a sadness. He had not held up his end of the deal when Master De La Garza bestowed this upon him. The blood now trickled freely once the gash on his forehead was unleashed from the mask, it run down his neck and mingled and disappeared in the red of his attire. Turning slowly,his hair still hung in his face, hiding his sorrow from the crowd and Minion. Slowly he walks toward the victor. Sentoryu knew in his heart that had failed the fans and the ones that counted on him to be the future of this sport. He also knew that the respect he was about to offer Minion would not be reciprocated., that would not matter for Sentoryu was dead inside,stunned and broken from a destiny unfulfilled.

He had been defeated at every turn this season. Had he made the right chose to return to I:W? Had he not paid for the indiscretions of 2011? Sentoryu had felt he had been on the road to redeeming himself for the things he had done. But fate had thrown him down a different path, one of defeat, one of being one step to slow.

As he gets closer to Minion he bows his head farther, almost slinking up to him. He could feel himself as though he was shrinking away from his conqueror. Self doubt was creeping into Sentoryu. Was he the one or just a cheap facsimile of greatness.

Sentoryu reaches for Minion, ever so lightly he touches his shoulder to get his attention. Minion jumps down from the ropes and turns to bare his teeth and the fallen Japanese warrior.

Sentoryu drops to one knee, the blood loss was taking its toll on him ,as was the emotions racing though his mind. He extends his hand up and offers it to Minion, his hair now drying somewhat was stiffening, his attire caking with the congealing blood ,the white areas crusting with it as well, giving Sentoryu a truly beaten appearance to match his demeanor.

Sentoryu raises his eyes to fix upon Minion, their eyes lock with intense fire. Sentoryu thought to himself would Minion except or would he follow though and finish him for good?

[DARKSIDE]

Minion stands, looking down at Sentoryu, unsure what to make of this offering. He leans forward slightly and sniffs the air like a curious dog, then tilts his head to one side...the the other. Minion growls and bares his teeth as he reaches out, putting his hand on top of Sentoryu's head. He slides his hand down Sentoryu's face, swiping his index finger across the bloody forehead of the Dragon Warrior. Minion sticks his tongue out and wipes his finger clean of the blood. With the taste of Sentoryu's blood in his mouth, Minion smiles and begins to chuckle as he looks down on his fallen prey.

Without so much as a word, Minion turns and exits the ring. He does not even stop to look back as he makes his way up the ramp and vanishes behind the curtain.

As Sentoryu's attention was fixated on Minion a masked attacker blindsides Sentoryu while his back was towards this man..The attacker rolls over Sentoryu so his face is looking him back in the eyes

You comeback to Mexico after all this time...You will regret this..This is only the beginning..You will find out who I am in due time old friend..
