Nightmare, "Doctor" Death and Angel are huddled in their backstage suite talking among themselves before their first show in Japan.
Soon, Minion enters the room and kneels down next to Angel. He has been hiding out near the arena entrance, scouting some of the talent and observing the events unfolding thus far.
Lord Nightmare, we have returned![/b]
sarcastically I can SEE THAT....Minion. What do you have for me?[/b]
Lord, the woman who once held Angel's title. The one with the face mask. She is opting to face another tonight. She has no desire to face Angel at this time.[/b]
Alright. This is excellent news. What else have you seen?[/b]
It is not what we have seen, Lord, but rather...what we have heard. The woman, Kaminari and her betrothed. The warrior in red. He, and the rookie with the stars on his clothing. We have heard them speak a name we have not heard in years.[/b]
Well. What is it?[/b]
Minion hesitates....
Your hesitation angers me, boy! SPIT IT OUT![/b]
Th....they speak of....Kyrksen! Kyrksen....Havg...[/b]
Death interrupts...
Havgrimur?? Ha ha haa... He can't be serious. We left that crippled old nag and his career buried years ago back in Boston. There's no way he is any threat, nor any concern to us now. Darkside shoved his Nordic Hammer where the sun doesn't shine and left his soul to rot at the gates of Valhalla.
The name and the man...Kryksen Havgrimur....are DEAD to us, Minion. Do not lose any sleep over there errant ramblings. For all we know, they speak of him in the past tense, perhaps as a tribute or some kind of remembrance.[/b]
Nightmare looks to Death....
Brother. The one thing you do NOT do when Havgrimur is concerned is take anything lightly. I, too, have heard those humans speak of him, and I had simply dismissed it. Even when I spotted a man a few weeks back in a dark match against the rookie Minion talked about. He was introduced by that same name. He was a large man who wore clothing adorned with lightning bolts. He certainly appeared to be the very man we left for dead back in BPW...but he also looked somewhat different. I was not convinced by his presence. I know....we ALL know where Havgrimur lies today. There is no way he could have returned, let alone appeared in the same company that we now inhabit. It's all too "convenient".
The man who knocked that jobber out in a matter of seconds...with a single punch....was obviously an impostor. An impostor....or some sort of apparition of a long-gone and once great warrior.
You see, Minion....all of you.....Kyrksen Havgrimur....is no more! The mortals who speak his name are of no concern to us. Angel has bested the woman and taken her championship. The same fate will befall any of them if they dare to cross us.[/b]
But...consider for a moment...if Havgrimur has indeed survived, and he is aligned with these humans...he has no doubt learned of Angel's conquest. Thus, he is aware of Darkside...and that NEEDS to be a concern of ours, Nightmare. He will send his "troops" to confront us, and if they can't get the job done, he will eventually have to face us himself. If you think for...[/b]
THEN, FACE US....HE SHALL! Face us...and be destroyed all the same. Just as he was before, so shall he be exterminated again. I do not fear him! None of us should. We have taken down men bigger and better than Kyrksen Havgrimur. Do not let our history worry you. Do not let a name from our troubled past shake your resolve. We will not play those games. Mentioning that name is only meant to get under our skin. WE...are the ones who play the mind games here. Not those weak-minded primates out in that locker room. Don't stoop to their level.[/b]
The camera focuses on something past Nightmare, near the doorway in the background. By the time it is visible, there is merely a blur of red that disappears into the darkness of the hallway. Nightmare catches the camera man seeming distracted...
HUMAN! What are you gawking at?[/b]
Nightmare snaps his fingers, getting the camera tech's attention. He just glares into the lens, lets out a low snarl and then grabs the camera away. He throws it to the ground with a loud crash, and all that can be heard as the feed goes to black is the angry shouting of Nightmare and the feeble cries for help from the terrified camera man...
