When I was a kid, one of my cousins told me that when driving past a cemetery, one should hold one's breath lest the spirits of the dead worm their way up through your nostrils and take control of you. Needless to say, I expanded my lung capacity quite a bit as a kid, even to the point of almost passing out sometimes.
Now that I'm in my mid-twenties and consider myself to be finally "grown-up", I have to stop myself from holding my breath every time I pass a cemetery. Silly, huh?
What things do other people in TNB still hold onto from childhood?
