Nameplates showing the names of each wrestler as they enter the Royal Rumble?
I used to have it on, but now it doesn't show-up. I've tried chaning Visual Presentation > HUD to "Gauge Off" and "On", but neither make the nameplate show-up again.

Oh for Christ's sake! I hate this company and their ridiculous design choices!
This has the same problem as a previous year's game (an issue that has thankfully been fixed for WWE 12 CPU vs CPU matches) - whereby the game would only show the Iron Man point tallies if you were playing as one of the wrestlers, they would not show in a CPU vs CPU match until the end of the match.
In WWE12's Royal Rumble match the nameplates of each entrant will only show-up if you have selected to play as one of the wrestlers. As someone who is trying to simulate a CPU vs CPU Royal Rumble match whilst having the nameplates show-up for each entering wrestler I have to play as the first wrestler myself and get knocked-out of the match - and then view the rest of the match with the 'Press A to select a new SuperStar' menu on the screen the entire time.
Fucking Ridiculous!

And this is such a big deal... why??

Because I cant sim a CPU vs CPU Royal Rumble which shows the nameplates for each participant. With the amount of flat-out new characters this season, and 'per appearance' guest entrants from WCW/TNB/I:W's past (come to think of it I need Gen for the rumble if you want to), it would be helpful to see the nameplates in case the character isn't instantly visually recognizable. When I first got most of the season's CAWs I did one for my own enjoyment and spent the next ten minutes after the rumble trying to find the cool-looking blond character I'd seen but didn't know (syrus van heel).
Unless you meant why is the 'press a to select your next wrestler' menu being on-screen a big deal? I suppose it's not in the grand overall scheme of things, it just gets on my tits that we have to put-up with such stupid stuff. One would assume that the nameplates just automatically came up, without having to figure out CPU/CPU or 1P/CPU

It's a shame we couldn't edit in our own name plates onto the video itself, but i know that is time consuming. I'd just toss a jobber caw in, and let the "press a" thing be. Not that it takes up a whole lot of room, besides, we could use that caw, or volunteered character, for a storyline involving that #1 slot, and their quick elimination.

That's a good idea, Myke. Are you volenteering one of your characters for that storyline idea, if not, does anyone else want to?
