After everything I've read & watched outta THQ. I believe whatever doesn't get fixed in 2012, will DEFINITELY be fixed in 2013. Stuff like the sound effects and diva limitations for example. Those have been confirmed thus far to remain as is. So I can see that being a project for 2013. That makes me a bit more optimistic. Not only about WWE 12. But the future of the "new" series. Marcus Stephenson said last year when he first got on board with 2011 that starting with the 2012 game. Lots of changes were going to made. And thus far? He, along with the rest of THQ, are living up to there word.

^ EXACTLY!, this is just the beginning to start fixing thing that shoulda been fixed ions ago..I am ecstatic they are doing as much as they can each game, what they fix this year carries into next year + what they fix for WWE 13' on top of that.

LOLZ Where was Q&A #1? We should start up a confirmation guide in the staff office and then plan next season accordingly.

Developer Q&A #4 - My Impressions
Adrenalin sytem replaces Stamina sytem. Reduces the spamming of running. Bigger Adenalin you have, longer you can run... This should hopefully get people online to play matches more realistically. Not sure it would affect CPU matches though, outside of possibly getting rid of the 'run in to turnbuckle in super slow motion' bit that we're used to seeing.
Attacking legs of opponent now reduces his running ability. COOL SHIT! This gives 'leg moves' a whole new reason for being used, other than to set-up weakened legs to gain tapout from the pitiful choice of 'leg submissions' they've had in previous years. Here's hoping this leads to more varied movsets next year as people look to actively slow down their opponents.
Not falling over like a damn drunk in the middle of being irish whipped or whilst running if you are out of stamina/adrenalin IS GREAT, although I will say falling over dead during the Irish Whips have saved my characters from a further beating sometimes, I can do nothing but applaud such a move. The falling down looked copletley stupid ever since SD1 when you would miss a running grapple. I'm glad that even if nowhere else, it is at least removed in the instance of being irish whipped/running whilst 'on fumes'.
"Breakout Moves" are what they're calling the new gameplay mechanic where you can break-up moves mid-move. A strike from a 3rd party being delivered to a guy giving another guy a suplex will result in an actual break animation, I assume in a 'dropping' animation. Grapples will also make this animation occur, but you couldn't transition from breaking up a move into a move of your own, or some kind of 3 person grapple move. This is fine... I do not think (based off the MITB matches where people can intterupt ladder climbs, which means that many people can end up on the floor almost dead, and how long those matches then take to complete) that the ''Legends Of Wrestling' by Acclaim" style of breaking moves will work - where if that 3rd person happened to walk into the line of fire as one guy was giving another a suplex, they would simply get knocked down too for being in the way. I don't think that would translate too well into the SVR engine. But both strikes and grapples causing a breaking animation should work great in multi-man matches. Also, running strikes will work the same way too. I can see this specifically causing problems during online play by cheap bastards, but they seem like the sort of thing that the Computer A.I. would do only occasionally, usually with good results. The kind of moments where we go 'OMG! I can't believe that happened, that was SICK!'
The break-up animations don't occur at any time during the move. Just at certain points. Cory uses the example of if you've almost completed the drop down on the suplex and someone punches you, that wouldn't register. There are specific frames of animation where the break can occur. Corey mentioned that these moves they had to draw themselves and insert the breakup frames. So perhaps that is some hope for future titles going back towards the HCTP style of drawn moves, rather than the SVR style of mo-capped moves where everyone fights the same using the same mo-capped moves. Anyway, this looks to me to be very good in terms of getting rid of online cheapness, which was my initial concern with the running strikes causing the breakup animation being used by lamers online (I am typing this as I go, you see, so there may be some back-tracking on my impressions). Overall I love every bit of what I've heard about improvements to the core gameplay mechanics, and I am about 7 minutes in. You can also break up 'tag team moves', such as when two people are delivering a double suplex to one wrestler, his partner can come in and break up the double team move.
"Boiling Point" moves is your new submission system. The point at which the break the hold/tap out meter starts at will change depending on how injured you are when the BPSubmission move was applied (so basically just like HCTP with all submission moves then). You can crawl to the ropes on certain moves too (like in.. svr06 or 07.)
"Comeback Moment" NO NO NO NO NO NO! This is your Legend of WrestleMania style quick-time-event reversal. You press a random button which pops up to start a reversal combo when your player is out of gas. Lets say it's Y on the Xbox360 controller. If you're John Cena that would be your shoulder tackle. Then another randomized button will popup, lets say that is for you to hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle (I don't know, it's an example). If you are too slow hitting that button before the A.I. the computer will do a move back on you and your ''comeback moment'' will be dead. I HATE THIS STYLE OF GAMEPLAY! I really hope you can turn these off in the options, as I will do that every time I actually play a match. Weather I leave these on for TNB simmed matches will probably depend if we will see a huge ''Y!!'' flash up in the middle of the screen during a computer vs computer simmed match.
Similarly any 'button mashing' type of Royal Rumble elimination styles (such as getting thrown over the ropes) have been replaced by quick time event ones (such as the one in the corner turnbuckle) to combat cheaters online with turbo controllers. That's fine. I won't actually ''play'' any more Royal Rumbles myself, but I don't seem to remember a huge ''Y'' flashing up during computer simmed Royal Rumble corner eliminations last year. And the intention to side-step online cheaters is at least noble. It's not like they've made this change in particular just to fuck us over.
The 'most' damaged limb of your opponent is the one that is being shown by your opponent. They won't be holding their head, and the arm for example. I hope this stops the current dynamic of matches whereby no matter which body part is hurt the wrestlers gradually start to hold their heads and move slowly like a zombie regardless of where is actually hurt. I hope this whole new type of limb damage, the stats for offensive and defensive strikes/grapples, and the fact that you can target the opponents legs to slow them down lead to more varied movesets from everyone.
The referee A.I. has been improved ''a little bit''. They've worked on him not getting in the way (I don't think he has for a long time now, visually he goes invisible, but I can't remember the last time a move went astray and actually hit the ref.) And making sure he doesn't get caught not knowing what to do, such as when he twiches back and forth before deciding on a direction to walk, or to actually launch into an animation like a count. They've worked on reducing those moments where the ref seems to be stuck between two conflicting sets of instructions.
Roster will be announced mid-August, around Summerslam. Will include Legends again. As well as information on Pre-Order deals. A lot DLC is confirmed to be coming. Not ready to announce a demo, but my impressions are that they seem in favor of the idea, but cannot announce anything yet, yes or no.

You know... even if this 'is' his updated look (probably about as close to Hollywood Heel/HCTP Rock as we're going to get), I can't help but feel like this would be a bigger deal if we hadn't have had Classic The Rock in possibly every game anyway. Here's hoping for some of his old moves to be put back in, especially the heel moves from HCTP.

I kinda like that Rock Bottom and peoples elbow. He's got the heel look, and I hope, hope, hope they do put the old cocky moves back in for him. That clapping suplex alone was GREAT for a heel.

QnA #6 ------------- Added Reversal Animations, which are tied to roster character's moves. Meaning specialized reversals for certain moves (certain people's finishing moves).
Breaking Point Submission Moves: - Boston Crab (you can crawl to the ropes) - Surfboard Stretch
You can now do Springboard moves off the ropes from running into them (like the Turnbuckle Springboard moves currently) like in TNA IMPACT/WWE ALLSTARS. This is very good from a gameplay stantpoint, this will make matches more unpredictable.
Differences between difficulty levels (Normal, Hard, Legend etc) - Reversal time windows are smaller on higher difficulties. A.I. are better at hitting the reversal windows on harder difficulties. Also the 'kick-out zone' in the Legends Of WrestleMania-style pin meter is smaller on higher difficulties. (well fucking duh, Corey!) - A.I. are more aggressive on higher difficulties. Quicker, know what they want to do. Alot more offensive than defensive. - A.I. does less thinking about all the options it has, more focused on what it can do to you. (Dun, Dun, DUNNNNNN!) - Corey thinks the chances of winning are good. If you're going for the win you'll probably get it, but if you play like I do, showboat and mess around and you make a mistake, the A.I. will make you pay for it. Says gameplay is fun/competative, but not frustrating reversal fests (so you're saying it's not like svr2011 then? BUUUUURN!)
Running moves on the apron have been fixed.
Wants to try Moveset DLC. Not there right now, hopefully a later DLC package (as in DLC Pack 2 etc.). Mentions not just moves, but entrances, anything animation related etc.
