Karl, I understand why you want to keep using 2011, but honestly I've yet to see a roleplaying fed that exists on an outdated game. When I did hear the idea of going back or staying on, I honestly and most of the people I knew didn't like the idea. As much as I slate 2011 I just don't feel like going back to older games much, whenever I've tried it hasn't lasted long TBH.
I am keeping an open mind on WWE 12 because it sounds promising, but I am going to wait before I use the words great or shit to describe it.

From what I see, there aren't any MAJOR improvements, the wake up taunts look nice, but they didn't need to do that for the RKO seeing as the Viper RKO's in the game. Plus, I see the stupid grabbing animation finishers is still in :/

I personally don't see anything wrong with the camera. But bare in mind. Its only a preview/demo. People really need to stop bitching/complaining. Its a "WWE" game, not a game for e-feds. Watch any episode of raw or smackdown. Watch the matches, and watch how the camera's change periodically from different positions. All there doing is replicating what you see in the live shows.

As I said on YouTube, since THQ's been fucking us over w/ the SvR series for years now, hyping up shit and not delivering, I'm taking everything they say w/ a grain of salt. And I don't wanna hear "Oh it's a new game series" because from this video, it doesn't look too entertaining.

I was talking specifically when viewing it at full screen. Maybe it's just me? But the camera didn't seem to follow the moves smoothly, it was shaky/jerky, and seemed to also zoom in and out slightly. Made me a little ill to watch it.

That video looks a lot like 2011 with a few minor tweaks to me, but the new punt animation I like.

WEll they did say the E3 demo was somewhat limited. But out of the report. It seems like more good then negative for a change. The game is still very much at an early stage. I'll likely get the game regardless of what comes of it simply because I'm a fan of the series. I appreciate the new changes brought forth in this new title. The series has been getting stale for a long time. The controls are something I, like most, will have to get used to all over again.
I say August will be the 'big month' that we find out more about the game. In terms of new gameplay modes, creation options (improvements, changes, fixes, things of that nature), how/if online has been changed. That sortuv thing.

I think 'SmackDown' fans and 'Sonic' fans are pretty much the same group of people.
1. Buy game, find horrendus problems which they hate but one or two saving graces which makes them unable to part with this game. Making it another one on the pile of SD/SVR games, which will hardly ever be played once the next game in the series is released, due to the horrendus problems overshadowing the good when the new version is all fresh and new.
2. Proclaim themselves to never be buying a new SD game again.
3. News comes out, improvements look good on paper, fans start making excuses and allowances, so that they can pick up the game and 'just test it out' (me included).
Rinse and Repeat.
I don't like the sound of the new control system. It honestly sounds like an awful mix of older SmackDown games and the WrestleMania series on GameCube.

Tried watching the video again...
You can really see the zoom in/out (or at least the shaky-ness of the camera if the zoom effect a trick of my mind) on the first two moves Randy hits. Watching the video a little more, I really dislike how the camera jerkily trys to follow the moves, as soon on Randy's Lou Thez press. It follows him through the air, then sort of 'locks' onto his as he rides the opponent down to the mat. It looks like someone's bad free-hand highlight reel camera work.
I'll give it more of a look in future videos and in a rental, but right now I'm not really liking it because it's really fucking with my eyes, leaving me blinking for a few seconds when the video is done to shake off the dizzyness. I realise though that this is probably just my poor eyesight and everyone else will be fine with it.

Shakiness of the video didn't bother me TBH just I really don't think it reminds me of WWE programming in the way they keep suggesting it does. Control scheme changes with each game now so I am used to it. My top question currently though is about submissions are we going to see many that make you tap or just a few that really was the only issue I personally had with the struggle submissions.
I am not really excited for this, but I am being open minded.
