This can be any kind of influence. Just whatever comes to mind.
Bret Hart, Kurt Angle, Dean Malenko, Undertaker, The Iron Sheik, Macho Man, Rick Flair, Arn Anderson are a few that influenced my view on wrestling growing up.
I remember back in my early days seeing like a Bret Hart, and how technical wrestling really showed its mark. Not just the flashing stuff with a Hogan ya know. Submissions, etc..
The Undertaker being another from the dark persona as I didn't see something like that. It was something different, and took a life on its own. Seeing now that Taker is one of the best winning streaks in wrestling history.
Dean Malenko. When I first saw the guy come down the entrance for a match, thought this guy seemed of boring. And then I actually saw a match he had, and saw that technical prowess. I was thinking back then what move new hold is he going to pull out of that hat this time.
Kurt Angle. He has to be one of the most charismatic technical wrestlers ever. To come out of amateur wrestling, and winning a Gold Metal at the Olympics. You'd think that he couldn't get any higher then that. Comes into pro wrestling, and just does so well. Can do just about any hold, and as technical in that ring as you can get.

I actually got quite a few wrestlers that have influenced me or at least with what I make on the caw side of things. Some are obvious and some are not.
1) Sting has been a huge influence. Mostly on his flamboyant/crow persona. He had that high flying appeal to him and the fans loved the transformation later in his career.
2)The Rock. I love his promos and how he became the character. Mostly he was hilarious and could use the fans how he wanted.
3) Goldberg. He had raw power. I loved his entrance and how he had impact moves. Not a great talker but his speech ain't what influenced me.
4) Lita. On the women side of things I think her look and moves what has influenced me the most. More during the Rios era and not so much during the Edge era.
5) Sunny. Her ring persona os what I loved the most. She knew how to sell. Never the wrestling but the look with music.
6) Angelina Love. I absolutely believe she is one of the most gifted females technically in the ring. Alot of ways she may be more influential to me in caw mode more than any other wrestler I ever seen. I got caws that I have made but never brought into TNB and modeled them or in other words they are inspired by the "Beautiful People" persona.

Personal wrestling wise - Raven - Anyone who knows the character from it's inception, knows the methodical, trivial, always keeps you guessing promos. I took hints from him, that added them into my own wrestling character.
- Benoit/Bret Hart/Malenko/Steamboat/Danielson/CM Punk - Just technical wise, I've took their ethic, and arsenal of moves, and adopted some of them for myself.
- The Brood/Early Hardyz/Ravens Flock/Vampiro - When I take on a dark persona, I look to these examples of how to fully take on the persona. The body movements, the attires, the way they wrestled, their promos.
- Japan - From an early, early, early age (4/5 years old) I had access to tapes from Japan. I had the chance to watch the greats, the up and comers who are now the greats, and the guys just getting started. I had the first year of The Great Muta all on tape, as well as Dynamite Kid, Tiger Mask, Pegasus Kid/Benoit , Jericho, Eddie G, Misawa... all of it on tape or on DVDs as the years passed up to this point.
CAW wise I take influences from different people for different characters. Sylas - Alot of Raven, CM Punk, Jake Roberts, Mankind for promos that get you thinking. Attire/persona wise it's Raven/Punk/Hardyz/Brood/Japan. Brent Starr - Originally, it was a hybrid Alex Shelley/Austin Aries look, but character wise, it was how I would talk, act, if I was in the situation he was win. Then, I decided to do something nobody had done, or done at-least successfully. I molded him into a "Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman who told it like it was. Flew off the handle. Was wrestling educated. He knew the dictionary front to back, not to be a nerd, but to be able to pull out these words and descriptions that had you scratching your head wondering where he was digging up all these words and references. I also started the trend of "Shoot" promos with him back in 2006. At the time, nobody was doing it. Everyone was playing a gimmick, sticking to a script and following a set path for their characters. I did to up until I realized how much I did meant so little in the grand scheme of some feds "We're doing this, to get this guy over. He needs this belt to do this. We have these guys doing this, so these other guys can do this". It was all a bunch of bullshit. I agreed some people needed storylines built for them, to get them over and accepted as main event/legend people. I just didn't agree that my hard work as a brand new character needed to be sacrificed so these other guys could get over instead. So, I started telling it like it was. Calling everyone's bluff. Pointing out obvious favoritism. I started interjecting myself into peoples business and making it my own. I also paid close attention to what people were saying. I became the hard ass on people who posted their intros, and forgot to mention little things. Transitional things like "starting on stage, then all of sudden in the ring without saying so", or talking without a microphone lol. I nitpicked at people, I called them out and I beat them up every way I could. Where did it get me? Brent Starr became a bigger name then Sylas Styles because it was a realistic character who you could relate to, and would want to see/picture doing/saying what he did. Now everyone won't let it be that I faded him down to an easier going guy, who didn't rely on the "pwn" tactics anymore. Which had alot to do with Admins asking me to tone down, or lay off, or change things so others had it easier. *sigh* this is a story best suited for it's own thread, so I'll end that there. My Women - Most take cues from the likes of Trish/Lita/Molly/Victoria days, but recently it's been more the "SHIMMER" women for sheer attitude and attires. I've got some "Beautiful People" types, some "over bearing women" types and then my "indy" types. AJ Pain/PoV - It's all Raven/Dreamer/Justin Credible/ECW as a whole rolled into one character. He is to Efeds what ECW was to wrestling. Hard, Brash, Extreme, Over the top, rough and rugged, dirty and aggressive. He did the promos that were adult themed, and in written feds, was notorious for his weapon assisted wrestling. Can't do that in sim feds though. He's a small taste of his old arsenal - Northern Lights Driver onto an open chair - Top rope chair assisted leg drop - Shooting star press with a chair - Chair assisted back-cracker/stabber - Barbwire wrapped Kendo Stick - Shooting Star ddt onto a chair - Top rope fallaway slam turned into a diamond cutter/rko - Tables tables tables - Reverse DDT onto an open chair so they landed on their feet, but forehead on the upper back of the chairback. Or just onto 2 open chairs facing eachother |\/| style. I'll stop there for now, and come back when I got more time lol
