While the action of this week's Showdown was beginning to heat up inside the ring. From Double S's huge announcement to Kyle Nobbs taking over the show for one night. Alot was going down this evening. Though he wasn't even scheduled to make an appearance tonight. Genesis decided to show up to the event backstage to chill with some of the roster member(s). No camera's or any BS wrestling angles. He wanted a chance to talk and get to know some of the talent around here. Some people he knew, others not so much.
Gen. was spotted in the catering area. Getting a bottle of water out of the cooler nearby. As he twists the cap off and takes a sip. Someone taps him on the shoulder. He turns around and see's...

Ahh, I see you've climbed out of that coffin me & Shia put you in huh?
Of course it had to be Cage, he was always the one doing some shit. He was still injured so there wasn't much to do backstage, but when he saw Genesis, he knew he had to torment him. For old times sake.
How's life been treatin' ya? I don't really give a fuck, I just wanna know how it is spending so much time trying to kill a pussy. Or lion, or whatever the hell you'd classify him as.

Genesis - "I dunno MG. Tell ya what, bro. I'll tell you what its like trying to get an incompetent, moron of a CEO's attention. If you can tell me what its like to enter the 2012 season with virtually nothing on your plate?
After what you and Double S did to me at Rise to Stardom. I would've expected you two to take off here at TN... err, "I:W". But instead? Double S has been going places. Where you on the other hand? Well... lets say you've seen better days. "Gen. smirks as crosses his arms after setting his water down on the table.Genesis - "I didn't come here to start a fight with anybody. All I wanna do is chill out, relax and enjoy the show. Those days of getting in needless squabbles with the likes of you are over & done with. So if you're looking for a fight? Try looking someplace else. Unless you actually wanna attempt to have a civilized conversation with me..."

Unless you got horseshit in your ears, I coulda swore I stated I was injured already, I can't do anything. That already derails your whole "not looking for a fight" argument. But no, I just wanted to see how you were and shit, I don't completely hate you. I still have some sort of respect for you, after all, so far you've been a man of your word. You're retired and shit, so that's one so-called legend added to my resume.
Oh yea, do me a favor and not call this shit I:W, willya? You and me both know the only thing "Innovative" about this company right now is the amount of new, second rate talent they let through these doors now. I see soon I gotta go kick some ass and give this company a good name again. Cage then smacked Genesis' water off the table and smiles at him, just for kicks.

Genesis watched his water bottle roll on the floor in complete amusement. As he shakes his head with a quick chuckle.
Genesis - "So much for staying hydrated I suppose..." Gen. shook his head in disappointment *sarcasm*Genesis - "I think I heard you the first time when you said you were 'injured'. But please don't tell me you're gonna let a little injury stand in your way? Listen kiddo. In the seven years I was in the ring. I fought sick & hurt. Didn't matter if I had the flu and ran a 102 degree temperature. Or if I was wrestling with tore ligaments in my knee or a fracture in my arm. I sucked it up and continued wrestling like a man.
For a guy who 'acts' tough such as yourself. I would expect you to do the same. Maybe you're exactly what the people around here say you're, MG Cage. Nothing but hot air and a waste of space on the talent roster. Last year. You had potential. This year? All I gotta say is. Injury or no injury. You better step up your game if you plan to stay on the payroll. Just a little advice from a former employer here. If you wanna get on Lionheart's good side. You better show up and do what he doesn't do. Work! (laughs) I'll give you credit. Can't be too hard on ya when we agree on something for change. This place certainly isn't "Innovative". People say its all about a fresh start. This, that and the other. Yeah sure. We may have a couple of new names. Guys like myself, Avenger, Sylas Styles may not be wrestling anymore. But I'm nowhere convinced that this place is any different then it was a year before outside of color changes and a poor attempt at a new name. Wouldn't you agree?

Cage lightly tapped his head, then made a sleeping motion as if to try to finally get the "concussion" thing through Genesis' head.
Yea, like I said, the only new thing is the people. & They aren't even doing a lot to hold this place down. I notice that Canadian fuck Jeff Kain is back, and Dice-K is back, that's really the only thing I actually remember. Then my titles that were just randomly vacated & shit, still vacated. Like this company is so bad, we got men fighting women. I can honestly see why you chose to retire though. This shit is just.... what the fuck, know what I mean?

Genesis - "I felt I retired at the right time and at the right place to do it in. After seven years. Multiple title reigns. Historical feuds & rivalries, both in the ring & outside of it. Add to that multiple Legend status accolades across the globe. There was nothing more for me to prove out there. So... I can't say that I retired due to a name change. Even if I was still on the active roster. I'd still be repeating the same things I'm telling you today.
However, only thing you can do is live with the decisions made and move forward. Don't always have to like everything around here. Hell, I'm sure 90% of the people despise the fact that I'm still around. Despite being retired. But do you see that stopping me from being here right now? No... you don't.
My point is. You can't let a name change or even a head injury keep ya down, MG. You've got alot of spunk in ya kid. Don't let these hurdles stand in your way. Jump over em'. Keep running and don't stop until you've had enough.
I'm one of the last of a dying breed of wrestlers. I'd love to see somebody, even you, despite our differences. Carry on the torch that guys like myself have left behind. When I went out there. I laid it all on the line like it was my last match. Every night for seven years. That was the feeling I went for. Because you just never know. This dream of yours. This wrestling career? It can all be over within' a blink of an eye. So if I were you? Live this shit up to the fullest.
I don't expect you to follow my every word. Much less listen to what I've said today. However, I do expect you to respect my words of wisdom. Trust me, they don't come too often. Do you see guys like Avenger or Lionheart giving talks like these? I don't think so. They're off doing there own thing without caring about the business they leave behind.
But me? Despite my public reputation. I do give a shit about what I've done, and what this business is gonna be like 10, 20, even 50 years from now. That is why I'd like to see you go to that next level, MG Cage. Don't do it just for me. Do it for yourself!
