"Do I like the name change, from TNB to I:W? Hey, a fresh start is always a good thing. Look at what I did with my career, working for any promotion that needed me, and was willing to work with me. I had plenty of fresh starts, and it was those fresh starts that pushed me further in my career. A new name, a new attitude, and a new breed of competition coming in is good for the business. Some people feel the name TNB is tainted anyways, so why stick with a predetermined opinion in the casual fans minds. Change the name, and you get those close minded fans who will tune in thinking it's a new company altogether, then the talent will re-sell themselves on those fans. You'll always have your diehards, and sometimes, those fans aren't enough, you've always got to be bringing in a new stream of fans. If your not growing, your not succeeding."
"This issue between Genesis, and Lionheart? I've watched, and it's disgusting. It was this kind of drama, and incessant one up crap that pushed me towards my decision to basically retire. Too many companies now have this battle for power. There is always going to be naysayers who always think they can run your company better then you. Not to take anything away from Genesis. He's an incredible wrestler, and outside the fourth wall, a great man. But Chris took TNB, Innovation Wrestling, whatever you want to refer to it as, and kept it going, and relevant when so many other companies popped up, had a good run, and faded away into obscurity. VWE was around before I got there, and they closed down while Chris kept his company open. LXW, GCW, FCW, OCW. All competent companies, with competent owners, and rosters stacked with world class talent. They all folded, crumbled, and are just memories while Chris keeps the company alive, thriving, and always branching out to reach every genre of wrestling fan. Where I fade away from being involved in things physically, is where they keep me involved mentally. They continue to talk about me, reference me, and use me as a catalyst to prove a point. So, being honest, and shooting straight. I had power, and used it. Did I actually "run" the company? No, I kept close tabs with Chris, and others, and took their opinions and ideas, and implemented them. So while yes, I was "running" the company, it was more an outside source of minds doing it, then just I alone. Could I turn things around abit, could I have done better things alone, sure I could. Did I? No, but that's because I let other people into my head, and steer the ship I helmed instead. Which is what Chris needs to do now, avoid the conflict with Genesis, and steer the ship along the path it's on still, and that's upwards. There is only really one, maybe two companies with viable means to compete with him now. Don't get comfortable with what your doing though, continue to grow, continue to reach out and embrace the changes that are going on with the world, like social media. Embrace the change!"
"Retirement, yeah it's great to sit back and enjoy not waking up in pain from working in so many places at once. I was sometimes working 2 places in one night. Sometimes working more then one match at each location. Imagine working three matches a night, for 300 days of the year. That's 900 matches a year I was having for the last 10 years. I've got money out the ass, and no need to make more, but I'm paying for it physically each day. Ya, the one knee is a bit wonky, and I had to ice it a few times. Think of this though, now that I'm not working in the ring each night, I'm more fit, I'm in the least amount of pain I've been in since 2005, and I'm only thirty years old. This is my prime, this is the time I should, and could, be on top of any company. I guarantee that if I was still active, I'd be the Champion right now. If only, and it's always going to be just that, if only. If only Joker didn't hold me to the deal we made. If only the MMI lawyers found a loophole, if only..if only..if only. Hey, if Genesis and Chris can fight, and still be "retired", then why can't I huh?"
