Karl, what the hell man, if this is cribs you have to show what's in your fridge! It's the rules! My cave, really nothing special. walk in, see dis. go forward, turn, see dis. Best set up for watching TV or movies. Lay in bed, turn on tv, profit. I feel better about myself, knowing that the blue water bottle in the first pic blocked out the two half full mickeys of vodka. Success.

So I decided to get started on a solution to my cramped leg problem. How do my results look? That silver wireless keyboard is plugged into my Xbox360, allowing for fast C.C. searching/Xbox Live text messaging to people. That is a slim UK PS2 partially hidden behind/underneath the right side of the TV next to the silver keyboard for when I get the urge to play some oldies-but-goodies. This way I can sit straight-on with the TV and have my legs underneath comfortably. In fact I can stretch them out fully before resting them on the wall, even slouch in the chair if I wanted to, just like the WOW player on that episode of South Park. Here's Miriam's unit-top completely taken-over by me. That's my PS3, Xbox360, Phone, Router, PC and random accessories. More in detail: PS3, Xbox360, Xbox360 power brick (hate this thing!), black wireless phone holder, silver wireless kb/mouse keyboard receiver/mouse holder which is plugged into the Xbox360, my white/grey O2 router with PC/PS3/Xbox360/HDTV wired into the back of it. Then there's the black SeaGate 1TB external hardrive, the PC itself which has a 1TB hardrive for it's C Drive, a 1TB "Expansion drive" sat in the top of the tower which is my dedicated Wrestling Media hardrive, and behind that my beautiful 1TB IOMEGA eGo external hardrive. I am of course very concerned with all this electronics overheating, being so close to each other. Do you guys think they'll be ok, or are they a cause for concern?

Should be okay. As long as each device is getting ventilation (air). Which judging by your setup. Nothing is blocked off. So, your good to go.

Now, the reason I'm posting this in a separate thread. Is because in Karl's thread. The pics were way too huge & made it impossible for me to even load the page. So that's why I've decided to make my own thread for my own collection/gaming area. Now, lets get started... ^ This here is my DVD Collection from a wide shot. This is about... I'll say close 10-12 yrs worth of DVD's, and now, some Blu-Ray's thrown in. ^ First two rows. Showing my DVD's/Blu-Ray's from 'A' to 'F' (Yes. I alphabetize them. lol). I'm a huge DBZ fan. So I'm slowly working on collecting the whole series on DVD. ^ The next three rows. DVD's/Blu-Ray's 'F' to 'W'. My "Nightmare on Elm Street" collection stands out on the 4th row. LOL! ^ This is the next shelf. Top row is what's left of my DVD/Blu-Ray collection. The middle row is my Wrestling DVD/Blu-Ray collection. Which is growing. lol. Decided to separate those from my standard movies. Bottom row is primarily my CD Collection. But also got wrestling shoot interviews, Angry Video Game Nerd episodes, the entire DBZ/DBGT series, all burnt as data discs. Just so I could watch them on the PC whenever I get the urge to. Sadly (and this shows my PC's age here). I don't have a DVD burner. So that is why I don't have these burnt to where I could watch them on my PS3/360/PS2/DVD player(s). ^ On the other side of the room. This is my gaming collection! ^ First two rows. These are my X-Box 360, PS3, Wii, and part of my PS2, collection. ^ Next three rows. Is the rest of my PS2 collection. Also X-Box, GameCube, & PSone games. ^ On the next shelf. Top row. Is my Dreamcast, Turbo-Graffix 16, NES, Game Boy Advance & SNES collection. ^ 2nd row. Is my Sega Saturn, Sega Master System, Genesis/Megadrive & N64 collection. ^ 3rd row. PSP & Nintendo DS collection. Next year. I'm hoping to add the 3DS & PSP Vita to this. haha! ^ On the last rows (As you see from the 5th picture above. This is what's inside those doors that open up). Is my Wii Crossbow (that I hardly use.. lol). X-Box Live Starter kit (contains my headset & chat-pad). The small basket at the end is my memory cards from other consoles. Easy way to keep up with them if there not in use. ^ Finally. This is my gaming area. (Or excuse me, my "Main" Gaming Area). Top of the desk. From left to right. X-Box 360, PS3 (SD Reader/Card, sticking out one of the USB slots). Links-Key "Wired" Router. Pinnacle Dazzle. Cable/DSL Modem at the end. On the top shelf. Just below the 360. Is my PS3/360 controllers. From there. Going to left-to-right. You see my 22' Vizio. This is my gaming TV obviously. Can also act as a PC monitor if I ever need it for any reason. From there. You see my Dell computer monitor, and also at one time. Was my original 'HDTV', and first one I ever owned from about 7 years ago. My pill box (LOL! Gotta take alot of medication everyday ). PC Speakers. Keyboard, Mouse. The little opening next to all this is just junk mainly. For the exception of a black keyboard that I use for PS3/360 for chatting. Now like I said. This is my "Main" gaming area? Why?? Because I've got ANOTHER room with all my old consoles setup. Which I'll be happy to show you guys in the near future. Once I'm able to tidy things up downstairs. To make everything look presentable. LOL! Rate/Hate. Comment. Ask Questions. Whatever... haha.

Oh Brandon, you rebel you. I'll probably end up merging this with the main thread at some point down the road to get cross-discussion going. I have to say that I'm pretty jealous of your setup, very nicely laid out with the games/dvds themselves.

I've taken the time consuming task of resizing and rehosting all my previous 'cribs' pics. The thread should be viewable for all now.

Finished re-arranging the Den/Game room today. I'm gonna bring some new life into this thread by putting some pics of the updated "Command Center" that I waste away my life around 24/7/365. LOL!!!
Plus, even though I'm a little late. I'm gonna also take pics of the other, smaller room with the rest of the consoles.

My new, and improved "Gaming Area": As you can see. All my shelves are together in one area. The first two shelves on the left side have all my DVD/Blu-Ray/CD Collection. While on the right side. Is my gaming collection. This here is the "Command Center", as I call it. Where I waste away my life on most days. From top to bottom, Left to Right: X-Box 360, PS3, Linkskey Router, Cable Modem, Phone, PS3/360 Controllers, Vizio 22"inch HDTV. Dell 20" PC/HDTV Monitor. Computer Speakers, Toshiba Laptop that I borrowed from my bro-in-law. Couple of spare keyboards that I used to use. In that closed drawer is basically cables, wires & some junk lol. Then of course. In the middle & far right on the bottom is my new keyboard, mouse & PC Tower that I just got the other day.

Very nice desk you have there, clearly everything is to hand.
I am guessing that your PC screen is just for PC, and the HDTV next to it has all your consoles plugged-into it?

Yep. Pretty much. Though on the Dell/PC Monitor. I could always run a game system to it as long as it supports component or standard/composite RCA plugins (No HDMI slots, since this was one of the early HDTV's to come out). However, I have no need for that at the moment. So that 'TV' is basically my computer monitor. While the Vizio is my gaming TV.

My place is such a mess at the moment. We've been condensing our stuff down and have been selling some furniture on ebay. We were trying to clear-out the office/2nd bedroom in anticipation of downsizing to a 1 bedroom council flat in the future from our current 2 bedroom private rented flat. We moved the HDTV into the alcove in the corner of the room on the TV unit, and put the PC on the sideboard with cupboard/drawer compartments in it. I've actually got my games inside of 3 drawers. One for PS3/BluRay, one for 360/Wii, and one for PS2. Works surprisingly well, but the sideboard that they're in is pretty fucked now. I mean the drawers keep sliding out on their own accord, the shelf in the cupboard draw sags. And somewhere in the back of it is a hole due to Miriam putting her kneecap through it during construction. Got the keyboard/mouse done through wireless so that I can control them from the black couch opposite, placing the keyboard/mouse on some little triangle shaped tables. Now though, since it's become available, we're thinking of moving to the flat directly below us. Mostly because it's future-proof. In our current upstairs flat you open the door and it's stairs straight away. In a couple of years that's going to be no good trying to wrestle a baby stroller/pram/buggy up the stairs, and I do not want to leave it outside the front door like some people do, for fear of it getting robbed. So that problem will be solved in the downstairs flat. It also has £50 per month cheaper rent. And I know from a previous tenant there that the landlord is OK with cats as pets, whereas our current one allows no pets. I'm hoping to get a dog in the downstairs flat. That would be awesome.

Alright, somehow or another. My original pics of my gaming area were deleted. I'll try to re-upload those at a later date. In the meantime. Here is a picture of my 2nd "Gaming Area". Reason for the parenthesis is. This is some of the systems I had downstairs in the basement. Which I've now brought up and put them in a smaller section of my Game Room. Its not very well setup, I'll admit. The giant floor-model TV is just 'there'. lol. It doesn't work anymore. My half-brother brought it with him when he moved in to stay with us temporarily until he could find himself an apartment to rent. Soooo, when he moved out. I got stuck with that thing. lol. I'm gonna have to haul that junker off one of these days. Anyways, enough of my rambling. As you can see in the picture (and I apologize for the lighting). From left-to-right. My SNES, My older TV for cable. On top of that. Is my Audio-Video switch box (the grey thing). To switch between consoles. Nintendo 64. Then to the far right. My GameCube (with 'custom' Legend of Zelda design) & NES. Affectionately, I'm gonna call this my "Nintendo" corner. Only thing that's missing is the Wii. Which is out in the living room since my Mother has successfully hijacked that sucker to herself. lol. (Damn you NEW Super Mario Bros.)
