State your "controversial" gaming opinion here, I:Gamers, opinions that you personally held close at heart but at odds against the majority of video game enthusiasts.
I'll start:
Legends Of Wrestling 2 is better than LOW1 or SHOWDOWN:LOW3. It just did things differently. You had a health bar and a finisher bar, which you filled-up to use your finisher (use it fast or it will disappear). But the 'real' way to win in this game was to increase your popularity. This happened by having a varied match. Events such as a ref bump, high flying move, chaining together several moves into one motion, using a variety of moves, winning the match, getting blood, using weapons all produced positive feedback from the crowd. Whereas using repetitive moves, losing the match etc. caused negative reactions. Reversals were timed so that you could only hit them in a certain window (visually represented on the finisher bar by a red area, which you would have to press the button inside to make the reversal happen).

*Shakes finger* Gimmick infringement Anyways... oh, I dunno. The game I'm about to mention isn't necessarily something I hold near & dear to my heart. But, its a game I did play last year. Completed, and felt that it wasn't all that bad as many gamers said it was. But, without any further ado. I'm gonna say "Duke Nukem: Forever". Now before everyone, and there mother flames me for bringing this game up to begin with. Lemme start off by saying that YES, this game did have more then enough flaws to make it a terrible, terrible game. Having being one of the minority to play & complete the game. It really wasn't all that bad. Trust me, there is much worse out there folks. Duke Nukem: Forever isn't a good game. But, to me. It was at the least playable for a rental. Not broken. Dated? Hell yes it was. But at the end of the day. Its a game that longtime Duke Nukem fans can at least try out. Whether you walk away happy or disappointed.

"Left 4 Dead 2 pales in comparison to L4D1."
First of all, lets get the obvious out of the way. I hated the new cast. Nick wasn't funny, Ellis the southern hillbilly kept making me think I was playing L4D2 with AJ Styles, and I found Coach/Rochelle to be walking steriotypes.
One or two of the new guns and melee weapons were ok, but on the whole I just didn't like the majority of them because most melee weapons seemed ineffective, and most guns had too much recoil/time-inbetween-shots/reload time.
The levels themselves were different, but I thought they were FAR too big. It was no fun getting 9 tenths of the way through a level to get hit from behind by a zombie and go all the way back to the start. It was no fun getting turned around and going in circles either.
I did enjoy the new throwables such as boomer bile; and having a choice between pills or adrenalin. I enjoyed the choice between carrying a health pack or a defibrillator unit to revive a killed team mate. I also enjoyed the temporary flame ammo you could get for certain guns.
As for the new infected: new tank skin - boo, liked the L4D1 tank. female boomer - what was the point of this? jocky - HATE these little fuckers with a passion charger - this right here is awesome! spitter - this right here is awesome!
You best believe as soon as I got my gaming PC I was hacking-in the L4D1 cast and levels, and the L4D1 special infected skins.
Once more, when it comes to L4D series, if you can, get it on PC. You get DLC for free, and cool mods. I could play as Claire Redfeild or Jill Valentine in the Resident Evil Movie Umbrella 'Hive' underneath Spencer Mansion right now if I wanted to.
