Launch titles that would make you purchase the WiiU/PS4/720 Day One.
Say the new consoles are coming out. They're a little bit more expensive than we'd like (but not extortionate) and we still have a satisfactory backlog of games to enjoy. There are still games coming out on our existing consoles, and no vital reason to upgrade as of yet.
Give me the games that change this. The theoretical games that, for you, makes the purchase of new hardware a day one need.
They could be sequels to established franchises, for example "Uncharted 4"/"Halo 5"/"Super Mario Galaxy III" might simply be all that is needed for you to get on board. They could be more elaborate, dream projects that are highly unlikely to actually be made but would be enough for you to overcome any aversion to an expensive day one hardware purchase. They could be remakes, reimaginings or revisions of existing games. They could be something else entirely.
I want one game for each of the Wii U, Playstation 4, and Xbox 720 that will make you buy the console at launch. Feel free to elaborate as much as possible about the specific theoretical game, the talent behind it, the gameplay style, the franchises/IPs, the inspiration, etc.
Try to make your suggestions imaginative but not impossible - ie a "Final Fantasy IX Remake" is legally possible, "Mario Versus Halo" is not. Consider the broad range of IPs owned by each first party for example, or even third party resurrections of favoured but long-dead franchises...

PS3 Well first things first, if Sony were smart the next PlayStation would restore the ability to play PS2 games on it, and still be comptable with PSONE, PS3, DVD/BluRay discs. Because right now as someone with a PS2 and a PS3, I see no need to buy a PS4. What could make me do it? I would totally cave if RE2 and RE3 got "Remake'd". I don't mean as a shooter (like Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles), or with the new RE4/5 controls. I'm talking classic RE, complete with old school "tank" controls, just with more atmosphere like the GameCube RE1:Remake was to the original PlayStation version. Or if Capcom want to give us a HD Remaster of Outbreak File 1+2 (and the cancelled 3?) in one game, taking advantage of PSN, I'd jump for that so hard. Outbreak games were great, but I think they were just a little too early before the internet online gaming 'thang really hit in USA/UK.
