I've seen it and have had my eye on it for a little while before it was released. I'm kind of on the fence about playing it given some of the theatrical stuff thrown into it. I won't spoil any of it for people who may be thinking of playing it but it's pretty dramatic even for a game from what I've seen. As far as gameplay quality I think it'll be decent enough. Probably not Call of Duty status but it should be alright to play. Never can have too many shooters to go through now can ya? So anyone thinking of trying it I say go for it. Can't hurt... Too much anyway.

Well, I played it for like ten minutes. Tho my dad owns it and he loves those type of games. He said the online is nothing like call of duty.
He doesn't like the game. And he buys all the first person shooters.
I wouldn't buy it. Maybe rent at first. Cuz 60 is alot to drop on a maybe

Very good, but short, campaign/story mode from what I hear. But lackluster multiplayer. Due to the MP being bad it was seen as a letdown of a game. I'm the type of person that still looks at games for their single player content first (because 10 years from now I doubt I'll still be able to take COD online etc.), and multiplayer as a bonus.
Damn you TimeSplitters! YOU started this 'where it shines is in multiplayer' focus.

I'm probably gonna give it a shot. I'm confident it'll be worth it just based off of the premise of the storyline for it. I'm not much of an online multiplayer type of guy anyway since the only thing I care to play online with anyone is Splinter Cell: Convictions co op program so lol I can live with that easily. ;D

WHAT THE FUCK VEGAS! How did I not know this sooner? Please tell me you have SC:C on Xbox and not PS3. I'm down for some Co-Op!

Yup. I'm on the 360. Haven't picked up a PS3 console just yet. Was waiting for Uncharted 3 to do that actually so, hit me up sometime and we'll execute some assholes together sometime.

Been wanting to check this game for awhile. Basically what you guys are saying is what I've heard. Campaign is decent. But MP sucks. lol

^LOL pretty much. Which I guess is a big thing nowadays with everyone wanting some sort of multiplayer/co op mode on every game that comes out. I for one judge a game by the quality of the single player mode first, and then multiplayer.

Exactly. I mean, I'm honestly not a big MP player. I'll play online at times. But very, very few games I'll actually get addicted to online MP (ie: Medal of Honor last year). Other then that.. yeah, I'm pretty much a Single Player guy.

Honestly this is why I love my Gaming PC. If a game doesn't have a demo up on Xbox Live, or if I don't have the money to rent the game at BlockBusters, I just pirate the full game on PC. Play with with my Xbox360 control pad, and if I happen to like the game it goes on my list to purchase later on in the year when it's in the £10 bargain bin. If I don't like it, it gets deleted and emptied out of the Windows Recycle Bin.
In the last couple of days I've grabbed myself: BRINK, Dead Island, Homefront, Split Second, Torchlight and Trine. I also plan to find Deus Ex: Human Revolution, since I have the first 2 games on PC already.

Wouldn't it be easier to do the opposite? Pirate the game. Play it for free. Rather then spend money at BlockBuster trying to rent it? xD

Exactly. After my disasterous attempts at trying to rent Dead Island from BlockBuster, i've finally seen the light.
