Steel City Showdown was upon us all, but there was one man that hadn’t made his appearance known yet at this pay per view. That man was none other than Ryan Whyte. There was a huge confrontation between the TNB and MMInc. that recently went on. Ryan’s name was tossed around several times but never presented himself in the ring for it all. Many were wondering if he would show up to the show or not. That all changed when Ryan Whyte stepped into the backstage scene. He was dressed to compete in his wrestling attire, but no one really knew what match he would partake in. He stepped up to the camera and began to speak.
I bet every one out there is wondering why I didn’t go down to the ring during the whole confrontation between the TNB and MMInc. To be honest with everyone, I felt as though I didn’t need to be down there in the ring. Many things were said and my name was tossed around like a salad a couple times here and there. It’s cool ‘cause I respect that. I appreciate when I hear my name ‘cause I feel like I am actually a part of something good here in the TNB.
The crowd cheers in the background before Ryan continues on.
One thing that did sort of get to me is the fact that TNB did more bickering between each other rather than form a union to take down MMInc. I never really got myself involved with the whole “I’m gonna take down MMInc.” thing but it really just got to me that people couldn’t put their differences aside for at least one night to actually back up their talk and once and for all take down MMInc. Cleary we as the TNB haven’t really done anything to stop MMInc. because they continue to come back. So what if we got a victory here and a victory there. It doesn’t matter ‘cause they are all still walking tall. They control the title scene right now and have backed up everything they have said. If the TNB wants to get rid of MMInc. once and for all then we must stand together because we all share one simple goal, END MONEY MAKER INCORPORATED!
The crowd erupted. They clearly have seen enough of MMInc. and want them to disband.
I’m not calling myself a leader ‘cause I’m far from that. All I want is for the TNB to stand together and take them all down! I’m gonna go ahead and say that Jason Youngblood, it’s time to put that title on the line. We have been going at it for a while now, but we’ve never stepped into the ring against each other one on one. I think that match is long overdue and I believe it’s time to give the fans what they want and that is Jason Youngblood vs. Ryan Whyte with the Undisputed Championship title on the line. I know there’s supposed to be this Steel Asylum match that’s supposed to happen, but I don’t believe that’s what people want to see. They do want to see the blood. They want to see the chairs, pipes, tables, ladders, guitars, or whatever else you can find under the ring. They want to see two men put everything on the line to have what they desire. They want to see us in a Three Stages of Hell match. Yes that is damn straight Jason, I am challenging you to a Three Stages of Hell match for the Undisputed title. I do believe this will make up for taking away the Steel Asylum match. Better yet I’m gonna choose one match, you will choose another, and management will choose the final match if it is needed. To keep in the spirit of Steel City Showdown, the match I choose will be a Steel Asylum MATCH! Jason, I’ll let this marinate with you. If you are down for the match then all you have to do is accept and show up later tonight to give the TNB one of the greatest matches in history.
As the crowd cheers, Ryan walks away from the camera and back in the direction of his locker room. He did hope that the match would be allowed and that Jason would accept. The Undisputed title is something he desired and something that he was willing to put his body on the line to attain.
