After that. if anything catches my eye. I'll try to ask for around X-Mas time. Looking to renew my XBL Gold around that time period as well. Just have to see what games are available by that time.
EDIT: Forgot about God of War: Origins coming out. So I threw that in.

Ummm...
Well, pre-ordered WWE '12 & Batman Arkham City both today so that'll hold me for a little while. After that probably Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City, Metal Gear Solid: Rising and an old game that I somehow missed titled Alan Wake. Gonna check that out and give it a spin and see what's happening with that. Should be a great year for gaming that's for sure. ;D

Batman: Arkham City WWE '12 NBA 2K12 Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception And I'll rent Gears of War 3 and Resistance 3. Eventually, I MIGHT get Madden '12 but haven't decided since I never played '11 and hardly touched '10. Also, I plan to play Alan Wake as well since I have intended to do so since before it came out, just haven't picked it up and forgot about it until Jason's reminder.  Another interesting game is called The Cursed Crusade that I will give a try. There are probably others I've forgotten, but I know those 5 I listed are definite buys for this year. |

Haven't decided on a 5th. Not a fan of the Gears series, nor the God Of War. Never bothered with Assassins Creed. I have nba2k11 but can't be bothered to play it since I was always better with the NBA Live controls. Don't bother with football games either. Maybe Mortal Kombat... I don't know.

Madden 12. The things they did with Franchise this year seem to be unreal. The ability to make pre-season cuts, scout players accurately through the combine, pro days, and individual work outs, draft players with pictures (I know this is small, but seems cool, since each player (assumingly) will have a different and new face). I'm also looking forward to some online gameplay.
Skyrim. Honestly, it's Elder Scrolls. I don't feel I really need to say much more. It looks fantastic, and something I'm really looking forward to. I marked out with the first initial teaser, and there wasn't even any gameplay in it... That's how bad ass these games are.
NBA 2k12. I need to check into what they've added a bit more. The legends mode seems cool, althogh it's just a revamped Jordan Challenge mode, which I didn't do all that much with in 2K11. I love My Player, and I hope they played around with that a bit. Franchise always seems good with these so not too worried there.
WWE 12. I'm feeling more confident about this as time goes on. Originally I figured I'd just say screw it and not buy it, because all I usually do with these games is sim and create, but I think it actually looks pretty cool this year. Maybe a rental before buying it.
Battlefield 3. Haven't played any of the other ones, and I'm going off of the little bit of gameplay I've seen, but I think I'd really enjoy this one. I've been looking for a game to get back into online gaming with, and I think this could be a good option.

The fifth will probably be a sports game not had a Hockey (though I cannot seem to grasp the controls for it) or an American Football game in a while. The new Tomb Raider looks good too not sure when it is released though.

Well I didn't exactly get to pick up Gears of War 3 (short on money this past month. Thanks to bills & other things  ...) But on the plus side. I plan on picking up Rage this Wednesday. Next will likely either be Batman: Arkham City or Battlefield 3. One or the other. Whichever one I don't pick up. I'll try to pick the other one up around X-Mas time.. or afterwards. haha. |

Picked up Galaga Legions DX on PSN, I ''just'' had the right amount of money left in my PSN wallet.
Still planning on getting Batman:AC. But now I'm going to split the cost of the Xbox360 version with my brother as we're both strapped for cash, and at some point next year he'll give me that half back so I can buy my own copy on PS3... I don't plan to play the game until I've completed Batman:AA, I'm going to be strict with myself.
I jumped-in and got burned by Sonic 4 being a digital download only title, to be honest. If Sonic Generations is a disc release it's a total rental. In truth I don't want 3D Sonic, or 3D Sonic on a 2D plane, honestly I want HD 2D graphics with the old 2D gameplay, so it's probably true that no matter how good they make Generations I won't be satisfied. (Although saying that I do still hate the locked "bounce" after hitting enemies and stuff like that which seem to plauge 3D/2.5D Sonic games.
Operation Racoon City looks cool to me, if a little rough around the edges. Deffinately want to see if this gets a rent version. Don't know if I would jump-in for a full game without somehow trying it out for myself first. I'm hoping for gameplay that is something simillar to Left 4 Dead, but since it's made by the SOCOM dudes, I assume it'll play like some squad-based micro-management game, like that Clive Baker's Jericho game I totally suck at.
Of course I am looking forward to WWE'12. I keep telling myself it'll be a rental first, but damn... create an arena? interuptable moves by a 3rd party? and a handfull of other updates that I'm cautiously optimistic about... in a overall sense (although they still have their flaws) the games have been on the upswing since 2009, and we gotta keep on evolving the efed with the games. This is looking like a dead-cert day one buy, but I may have to ask Mummy for it as an early Xmas present since all my money is going towards the wedding. 25 and Mum still buys me Xmas presents, pretty cool old lady I got. Even if she did make some comment about how I was getting too old (how dare she, lol).

Don't feel bad. Rage & Battlefield 3 for me are being split 50/50 w/ my stepdad. lol. Other wise, I wouldn't be able to get em'. Rage is a definite. But, as I said earlier. I'd love to have either Battlefield 3 or Batman: AC. But it comes down to which I'd like to have the most.
Other then that.
Sonic Generations is a possible buy. I loved the demo. But its a matter of deciding between the systems. I may go PS3 with this. Because well... unfortunately as its always been. I've neglected Sony on most 3rd party game buys. So I'd like to go the other way around with this for a change.
WWE 12 is a must. Not sure if I'll get it on 360 or PS3. If I get on 360. It will ONLY be used for the e-fed. That would pretty much be my only reason for getting it on X-Box. AFter the last two years of having SvR 2010 & 2011 have issues.
SvR 2010 = Bad Glitch that would freeze my game when trying to level up a CAW. Causing me LOSE all the progress I had made. A big game breaking glitch for me.
SvR 2011 = Constant freezing. Inability to access C.C. later on.. and also, one of the last times the game froze. The disc now has a huge crack in the center of the disc. So that's a no go. Its AMAZING how many times I have to repeat that to everybody who asks if I've been on the 360 lately or checked out a CAW of there's online.
Stepdad wants Forza 4. So I guess that will be in the cards for me as well. Usually whatever he gets. I end up playing. Or vice versa with me.
Gears of War 3. Likely now a X-Mas gift. Since I wasn't able to pick it up on launch. Though I'm in no hurry for it.
PS Vita. Pending on when it launches. I'm going to attempt to pick it up on launch date. Never been so excited over a handheld system.
Other then that. There's the Sly Cooper Collection, and God of War Origins on PS3 I'd love to have.
