The show begins like it did at last month’s AllStars event, with a wonderful highlight film showing off all of the stars of the organization. Each superstar had a clip to boost them up for the show, and each match involved in the event was shown. Highlights of past cage matches go off, showing some of TNB’s greatest moments ever captured throughout the years of operation. Superstars such as Chris Lionheart, The Avenger, Scott “Maniac” Manor, Genesis, and Shia Storm all are shown… The guys that, love them or hate them, you had to respect what they did for the industry.
The video comes to an end, followed by words from the announcers.Bill Watson: Lord have mercy, partner, this is gunna be one helluva show! So much steel, so much possibilities.. This is gunna be barbaric! Kazu Tagahashi: That it will be, Bill, that it will be. Tonight we’ve got TNB vs MoneyMaker Inc. in a match with three men one each team… This is going to be ginormous. Bill Watson: I love TNB, but man I’m pullin’ for MMInc tonight, kid! Too much talent, with no sense of wrong or right… These guys got ‘er in the bag![/color] Kazu Tagahashi: Don’t jump to conclusions, Bill, the main event is still awhile off! Anything can happen! Bill Watson: Yeah, but- The lights begin to flicker, with the dark periods getting longer and longer. The announce team tries desperately to get control of their microphones, but any words they say are drowned out by a loud screech. And then, it happens. Ever since AllStars, there has been one common thing.. The damn lights go out all around the arena. All electricity is cut. Nothing works.
Unless he wants it to work.
The large television that was just showing off highlights moments ago, that had died, once again returns to life. This was starting to get old, was it not? It flickers to life, a fury of snow-like static races back and forth, up and down, all over the screen. Over a period of time, it begins to form letters… and then a picture… and then it’s known.Sylas Styles.
You need a hero.Without him signalling for it to happen, Sylas’ theme begins to play. Although Mr. Styles didn’t ask for it to happen, it did, calling him out to play. He was expected now. The HERO of TNB awaited the arrival of TNB’s most famous superstar. It was now just a matter of time for everything to fall into place.

Why was his music playing? All he knew, was someone was trying to bite off more then they could chew, especially tonight. Was it some sort of mind game, trying to throw him off for the night?
He came through the entrance to a moderate pop. Fans will be fans. Slowly watching every angle he could, he walks to the ring, and slides in. Asking for a mic, he takes center stage.
Ok, games over, let's get it over with. I need a hero? I think not. I am a hero, THE hero. Wrestling without me, grows stale, and irrelevant. I rescued this company from near obscurity when all its stars fell from their pedastools.
Haven? Gone Lionheart? Retired Sentoryu? Disappeared Ryan Blaze? Locked up like a loony Avenger? About a week away from being gone forever Showtime? No time to play anymore
Hell, even when they bring in guys who think they measure up, they just fail the same way. Brent Starr anybody? Anyone care about him anymore? Nah, he's another one of "The Fallen", no pun intended. So you can't be anything special, otherwise, you would have been here the whole time. So let's have it. Let's have a big superstar debut, and do it at my expense.
He turns to the entrance way as he waits for whatever it is that is going to happen next.

The only working light, which was a single spotlight on Sylas, swings back and shines on the entrance ramp. The beginning of the now familiar song that had been playing over the course of weeks starts up. The lights flash to life around the arena, with now a single man standing on the stage. There he was, back turned, and one huge pop. There he stoodI’ve been here all along, buddy boy. You’ve saved this company when all the stars faded away? Yeah, at least you had stars to follow. I made this company what it was in 2009 and 2010. Without me, you wouldn’t have a place to save. You might be big, Sylas, but I’m that much better than you. You need a hero from yourself. You need to return to your dominant ways, the ways that made guys like me want to get into wrestling in the first place. Losing your belt to someone like the JOKEr? Pathetic. It’s astonishing how someone of your caliber could fall so quick, so hard, and so deep down the ranks.
I’m here to save you from yourself. I’m here as TNB’s HERO. I’m here as your HERO. I’m here to save people from the likes of you.

As was seen, as Blaze made his way to the ring, Sylas was outside of it kicking the steps, and barricade around the ring. When he was finished his little welcome back address, Sylas responded.
You made this place in 2009 and 2010? Sure, sure you did. While I was playing office employee, everyone and their brother came out of the woodwork. Guys who couldn't hold a candle to things I've done in one company, let alone what I've done worldwide. Then when I come back to the ring, where are they? They all scatter like the cockroaches they are.
I'll give you one thing though, you sure do know how to make a return. I was expecting someone else, someone more high caliber, someone who would make a difference. Someone like... Chet Dixon!
The crowd cheer his name, but boo at the reference to him being a bigger return then Ryan Blaze.
Sure, you did some pretty impressive things while I was sidelined. Ya, you put Lionheart on his ass, and into a business suit full time. Good for you. I applaud you for that. That being said, you up and vanished off camera till now. Why now? Why here? Why me?
Sure, you, like everyone else, say I need to return to my dominance. Ya, in better times I'd have put JOKEr on his ass, like I did last week. I would have put away Avenger like a major league baseball team against a little league team. I would have made such short work of MG Cage, that he'd be home sucking on his damn thumb instead of parading around with a tag title he didn't win, but stole.
I've tried to be the voice of reason. I tried to play the good guy savior, and it's done nothing but resurrect men, and women from the past who wish they could finish me off, once and for all. It's not happening though. Not tonight, not next week, not next year. I may not be as young as I once was. So all these 20 year old rookies coming in, they've had the time to study my tapes. I can't be bothered to watch 100 tapes of some indy guy who thinks his innovative moves can equal a title shot here. So ya, they get the better of me on a good night for them. But in the end, who gets the last laugh? Who walks away with his head held high, and proud?
ME!
The fans cheer him out of respect. For a man who was only 30 years old now, in the best stage of his career and life. He had more fight, and drive now then he ever had. More naysayers, more doubters, more people who wanted to put him away then ever. A betting man would bet on Sylas lasting longer then most careers.
So you want to rescue me? Rescue TNB? Then oblige us all with your rescue. Give the fans, and all the people out there what they seem to want. Give me a reason to "go back". To return to fine form! I don't see TNB as anything needing saving, because to me, it's already done, dead and gone. TNB is choking on the poison, and ready to die. It's for the better, because once TNB is finally killed off, then maybe the people in this world who refuse to come here, refuse to acknowledge us, refuse to give us a chance to impress.. those people can all FUCK OFF!
Did he? Did Sylas Styles just swear on a live pay per view broadcast?
In all the years I've known the man personally. All the years I've covered his matches in translation broadcasting. I don't recall him ever cursing like that.
Indeed it had been a good 4 years since he had loudly spoke out in such a way. Going back to the mistreatment of ones intelligence with the smoke and mirrors of VWE. With all it's magic, and floating women, cyborg assassins and the like.
Seriously. You show me another company who consistently airs their television shows, their pay per views, their behind the scenes show. Hell, I signed a deal to offer my hindsight and views of this company, and the business starting at the conclusion of this season. And this isn't a shoot, no, this is Sylas Styles coming out and telling it like it is. Because TNB might not have all those high profile names. The little kliqs that other places have, where if you side with the right guy, your career is made, and your pockets are lined with wads of green cold hard cash.
I've worked for the biggest, best promotions of this world. From east coast, to west coast, to Japan and back to Canada. The guys who have run this place since day one have done the best they could with the talent they've had to deal with. From guys who tried to run it into the ground. Guys who won and ran. Guys who lost their matches, and left crying "favortism, favortism, by god they pick their winners". To the guys who were supposed to be something special, as they made their careers worth following here. Only to walk out on this company and bury it every chance they get on their instant messengers, their blogs, and their little shoot promos they try to pull off in their bingo hall companies trying to be the real big deal.
Whether it's good, or bad, TNB has always run. Even when the numbers were down, and everything looked bleak. Look at what MMI has done for this company this year. We gave the people something to talk about. Something to scream about. Something to do when they couldn't get their god damn belts they want so damn bad. Without MMI, TNB would be puttering on with weak ratings, but hey, people would still be watching right?
The fans cheer loudly, getting behind what he was saying and doing with the live microphone in his hand, and nobody to cut the feed or tell him what to do and say.
What I'm getting at, to make a long story short is this.
For everything I've done in this company, before it's inception as TNB. For the people who carved a little invasion into a world wide enterprise of a wrestling family. For Chris Lionheart, Lucy. The Youngbloods. Guys like Xtian, The Dixons, the past, the present, and the future... I've done more then my fair share to grow this place, and make it stand out.
TNB doesn't need saving! TNB doesn't need a hero, it's the other companies that try to compete with their walk ins and outs they call a roster. They need the hero. They need the drive. They need the focus. They need TIME. It's going to take them a hell of a long time to get to this level we're at right now.
A roar breaks out in the arena. Probably the loudest the crowd has been in ages. This was a moment people were going to talk about for a long long time.
If I haven't saved this company already, and gave it stronger feet to stand on, then good luck to you and anyone else who is going to help you. Your going to need a whole hell of a lot of it once we're gone.
With that he drops the mic, takes off his black hoodie, and gets ready to "wrestle".

The awkward moment when no matter what either man said at this very moment, it'd receive a huge pop. RB, coming back from both injury and personal wellness leave, had been hyping his own return for the past month. Sylas, love him or hate him, was easily one of the biggest names in professional wrestling today. Both men were legends for what they did, respected for what they accomplished, and desired for their abilities.
RB paces the ring, rubbing away at the hair growing from his jaw line. He had a lot to say, and it was just a matter of figuring out where to start.
Hate to be the one to break this to you, Sylas, but TNB does need saving. I’m a wrestler, you’re a wrestler, and everyone else here that isn’t wearing a suit is a damn wrestler. I’m more worried about the spoiled apples we have running around this place, and all you care about is the current financial situation of the federation. All you care about is the buy rates of the pay-pre-views. All you care about is people buying those stupid new xXx t-shirts that are now being sold on TNBWRESTLING.com. Money isn’t the issue, and what other people think doesn’t matter. I’m here to save TNB from the people that care more about personal gain than putting on a show and performing.[/b]
Ryan stares at the man that he called out. He was almost inspecting him to see if he’d make another move. Sylas appeared ready to get the match underway, however Ryan wasn’t ready.
People like you, Sylas. People like MoneyMaker Inc. The people that think walking around with a nice wad of Benjamin’s in the breast pocket of their fancy new Armani suit is more important than the federation as a whole. You haven’t given this place stronger feet to stand on. That was me, when it was needed the most. Anyone that is relevant, whether that be you, the fans, the head office or the critics, know that it was Ryan Blaze who kept this puppy afloat while everyone else was out purchasing their new Porsches to line nicely in the drive way of their million dollar homes.
TNB has a core of people that care more about themselves than the fans. People that will do anything, including selling their own mother, to go up one spot in the ranks. People that don’t want to do things the fair way. It could be applauded that they have a desire to move forward, but it’d be different if it was to show off their ability as being the best. They want to move forward to be able to get those season tickets for the Atlanta Hawks and Falcons. It’s greed.
I’m here to rid TNB of the self-centered, money hungry, ass kissing people like you. I’m here for the fans benefits, because after years of hearing them boo, I go away for rehabilitation, and I miss the sound of ANYTHING. I missed the roar. That’s why I’m back. I’m back for the fans. I’m back to make sure that they get everything they deserve, and ungrateful people drop off the face of the earth.
You can blow off my accomplishments all you want, Sylas. You can say all the stars ran when you came out from the back. You can say I did nothing at all, for all I care. “Oh, those few little things you did while I was gone was cool”… Play it down all you want, because what you think doesn’t even matter. You really aren’t anything in TNB. Have I accomplished as much as you around the world, in other federations? No, I haven’t, because I’ve been a TNB mainstay for as long as anyone can remember, while you’re off kissing any and all ass you can to get that little bit of hype that’s left to your name. You’re so damn worried about the championships that you won in other federations, mentioning other places all across the world, and living on your old hype, that you can’t even see that you haven’t really even done anything for TNB. What have you done, thus far? Won a belt, and joined a faction after it was already getting big from a joint effort of other stars. You leached off their success. Fact is, while I was working myself to the bone to make TNB what it is, you did jack shit. You gave input and feedback? That sounds exactly like those same “bloggers” that you put down. Nothing but a guy that does a little talking here and there… A guy that has his words speak louder than his actions, unfortunately. You want to be relevant? Do something relevant. You think I’m wrong? Show me I’m wrong. Become the man you once were, the man that you speak of from Ohio, or New York, or Bangladesh if we’re going to drop names… Become what you should be, not that ghost of what you USED TO BE. Save yourself, and take the pride, or have me save you and get none of the recognition, because I know you love recognition as much as you’d be willing to say you don’t.
Why here? Because TNB is what I know and love. It’s what I bleed. When I go to sleep, I think about how I can do something new and revolutionary. Why now? Because I’m able to now. Maybe if you read the fed’s website now and then to keep up with the news, you’d be able to recognize that I’ve been recovering from a wrist injury, as well as my own problems. Doctors, physical and mental, both have cleared me to compete, so naturally I came back as soon as possible. Last week, when someone wearing a mask came to the arena? That was me, getting the last clearance from TNB’s medical staff. I wore the mask to keep things hush hush. And lastly, why you? Simple, Sylas… I picked you because I feel you’re most in need of a hero. You’re most in need of a reality check. You’re most in need of a ego drop. You need to stop stomping on other peoples careers in order to feed that crazy desire you have to be recognized as the best. Stop talking, start doing.[/b]
The fans didn’t know whether to cheer, boo, or simply applaud what Ryan just got off his chest. Such a load off, like breast reduction.
I can keep going on about why TNB, as well as yourself, need a hero, or I can show you. Your call. Judging by you getting ready, it looks like you’re about to get this thing going, and that’s good with me. Sylas Styles vs Ryan Blaze? I don’t think it’s ever happened before now, so let’s make it something worth remembering.[/b]
With that, RB tosses his microphone into the corner. He removes his shirt, and throws it into the crowd. He walks up to Styles, and even after saying what he had to say, giving Sylas a piece of his mind, he extends his hand out to the man he would be facing tonight. The crowd is somewhat shocked, but cheer it on anyways, hoping to see a good, clean match, one for the ages.
Off mic.. Show me why you’re a legend, Styles. I want to see you succeed, and be what you once were.
