Cincinnati, Ohio (AP) -- TNB wrestlers Jeff Pryce, Scorpion, Sapphire, and Richard Thorne were involved in an automobile accident on Interstate 75 early this morning.
At 3am Thursday morning, police received a 911 call of a fiery car crash on I-75 just outside Cincinnati, Ohio. Arriving on the scene officials discovered the remains of the 2007 Impala registered to Jeff Pryce.
The call to 911 was made by Andrew Friese, a truck driver who witnessed the accident.
"It was the (darned)est thing" Friese recalls. "I was driving along behind them, when suddenly the car just left the road."
Police say they believe excessive speed and a blown tire were to blame for the accident, which caused the car to slam into an overpass. Witnesses to the accident dragged the four people in the car to safety, before the automobile ignited in flames.
"They were very lucky" Officer Dave Aloi says. "Someone was definitely watching over these four tonight."
The four victims of the accident were rushed to University Hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.
TNB has released a statement that a press conference will be held tomorrow afternoon.
"We wish them a speedy recovery" TNB founder Chris Lionheart stated. "Our thoughts are with them in this troubled time."
