The arena lights begin to dim. The PA system suddenly booms to life. The song it plays, "Sound of Madness" by Shinedown. From behind the backstage curtain appears Shawn Stone. A very smug look across his face. He is seemingly not pleased with how last weeks show went down.
He acknowledges the fans as he makes his way down the ramp. Receiving a cheap pop from said gesture. Reaching the ring, he slowly makes his way up the steps.
Bill: He looks mad as hell tonight don't he?
Kazu: Can you blame him? He lost last week. I hate to say it, but he took a beating,
Bill: Damn straight he did. You don't call out Outlaw Inc and expect any less. His and Conley's first win was a fluke. Last week, those two showed their true colors. And those colors are black and blue at the hands of Outlaw Inc.
Shawn pauses in the middle of the ring for a moment. Looking out across the audience. He then approaches the corner and retrieves a Mic. He had a lot on his mind.
"How are you folks doing tonight?:"
The crowd roars.
"Good, good. Me you ask? Well, unfortunately not so well. You see, I've been forced to sit around all week and think about what happened on last weeks show. That is, when my so called partner Ayden allowed me to be blindsided and beat down by that Outlaw Inc loser."
Shawn begins to pace around as he speaks.
"Now, I'm not mad at Ayden. He had his guy, I had mine. And my guy just so happened to get the better of me. But, there is one little issue. When me and Ayden formed this little temporary alliance, I told him there was one rule. He have my back, and I'll have his. Well, in our first match I held up my end of the bargain. I broke up a pin on Ayden, saving him, and allowing him to go on and get us the victory. But last week, Ayden couldn't...Or wouldn't....Go on to return the favor."
Chatter can be heard amongst the crowd. Most wondering where Stone is going with this.
"So, simply put. I need a break from Ayden this week. I need a chance to spread my wings here and fight someone without having to worry about watching out for someone else. So, thats why I'm calling out Jason whats-his-face of Outlaw Inc. Just a good old fashion one on one match. Hopefully he's man enough to accept."
A devious smirk crosses Shawn's face.
"Thats not all however. You see, I'm ready to take Outlaw Inc out for good. That is, at the Pay-Per-View. So, I'm proposing that the winner of tonights match get to pick a stipulation for a final tag match between Outlaw Inc, myself, and Ayden. Also, I would like to propose that maybe Scott man up and call out Ayden. Or hell, vice versa. I mean, Ayden claims to want revenge on these bastards as bad as I do. Well, I'm doing my part tonight. Maybe those two could mix it up with the winner of that match choosing the match type at the Pay-Per-View. What do you all think?"
The crowd was on their feet. Obviously excited about Shawn's ideas.
