After his victory last week. Leading to the conclusion of his little war with Titan. Genesis had his game face on. Ready to conquer the next challenge that laid before him. Friend, or Foe. He was in a zone. With the recent announcement of an 'All-Star' caliber tournament taking place at the Pay-Per-View of the same name. The thought of facing some of the BEST this organization had to offer. Whether it was members of MMInc or TNB. To him, it didn't matter anymore.
For Genesis. Deep down inside? He knew his time was running out. While there were a few things left on his 'wish list' of things-to-do before his career runs out. His time was drawing near. Best use the most of the next several months to his advantage.
Granted. He thought that after his contract was up. He had plans on what he wanted to do, post-wrestling. He was still young (26). Retiring at a young age was a bit rare in this business. Normally, when such an instance occurs. Its due to an injury, or an untimely death.
To Genesis. As he had stated on TNB Wrestling.com. In six years. He's accomplished so much. Maybe too much, too soon? But that is the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. What may take a person 10, 15, 20 years to achieve. He was able to obtain in a little under six.
With that. There was very few challenges. The one's left. He felt were more of a 'What if' variety. Feuds with past wrestling legends that are no longer in TNB Wrestling. Much less, the sport entirely. Were now going to be looked at fans as 'Dream Matches'. As by years end. You could chalk up Genesis as another one of those talents.
Knowing when the right time is to leave your mark, is crucial. When it came to this company. TNB Wrestling. While looked down by others as a bit of a pseudo underground organization. Where the emphasis was put on the actual wrestling product, then the movie-based entertainment companies around the globe using 'wrestling' as a base.
To him. THIS company is where he was created. Without this organization? There would not be a Genesis. Much less other stars who made there mark here. Had it not been for this company. Alot of the talents you see today never gotten there push.
Its a matter of coming 'full circle'. Genesis started his career as a TNB Wrestler. Therefore, its only fitting that he finishes his in-ring career as well with the very company that brought him to the dance floor.
Before he was ride off into the sunset. There was but one... last... challenge on his agenda.
To this person. He only had this to say:
"When you feel. The time is right? I'll be ready. I'll be waiting. No distractions. No remorse. No regrets. Bring your best. I'll expect nothing less. Show me that you're worth the price of admission. Show the world... that you're ready. Underestimate me? I'll 'Prove You Wrong!'"
