Moments after the table, ladders, and chairs match, Ryan is met up backstage with Eliza Aries. Ryan hasn’t even had the chance to soak in the win because he now has an interview session with Samantha. Before asking her first question, she allows Ryan to catch his breath a bit.
Ryan Whyte! What a great showing both you and Scott Cane put out there. You looked like you were out on a mission out there and in the end you accomplished it. What are your thoughts on the match?
First off Samantha, I would love to thank all the fans out there tonight and those sitting in front of their television sets. Without hearing you all cheering my name and being as loud as you were, I don’t think the match would have been what it was. It is you that drives me forward and I thank all of you for that. Next I would like to thank Scott Cane. That guy is one tough fella. I can’t tell you how many finishing maneuvers I pulled off tonight and that dude would just not stay down. The match simply went down to the wire. It got to the end were the both of us were standing at the top of the ladder. I managed to grab his head and smash it against the top of the ladder and get in that punch to knock him to the mat. That gave me the opportunity to grab the briefcase which now means I get my shot at Michael St. Star!
It indeed was a great match that went down to the wire. There were points in the match where it seemed as though you had complete control but Scott always seemed to find a way to return the favor.
Yeah, that dude is a tank and he will not stay down. I had to put everything into that match in order to defeat him. Outlaw Inc. aren’t the fellas to take lightly at all. It was a great honor to be able to wrestle him and hopefully we’ll meet again in the ring someday.
So, at the end of the match, after you grabbed the briefcase, you fell off the ladder and landed onto the other ladder in the ring. It seemed as if you were in some serious pain at the time. How are you feeling now?
When I first landed on the ladder it did hurt a lot. The pain quickly subsided though. I guess it was all the adrenaline from the match and from the result that made me simply forget the pain. As of right now it’s really sore, but it ain’t too bad. I’m gonna live so I’m not too worried about it.
So what’s next for Ryan Whyte?
I think we all know what’s next. Michael St. Star is next on my list. He is the next target. I fought long and hard to get a shot at him after what he did after the flaming tables match against MMInc. All these people are feuding against MMInc and well they are not a concern of mine as of right now. All I care about right now is getting St. Star one on one in the ring. Once that is over then we’ll have to wait and see what will occur next for me.
Any last comments Ryan?
St. Star, be ready for when I challenge you next.
After his last comment, Ryan thanked Samantha for the interview and continued on his way back to his locker room. This was the biggest match of his career and he made the most of it. Now it was time to make his next move. Well, he had to actually wait until the next Brash to issue a challenge. As of right now it was time for a little celebration for a job well done.
