Walking through the hallways after his tough night, Cage had something on his mind. Or rather, someone. Passing by the doors, he reads off names, Angelus, Jessie Blair, Kim Hunter, passing by the locker rooms until be finally gets to the door he wanted. He decided to wait outside her door. She'd be back

Continued from here.. www.tnb2.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=mayweek5canadatourabomination&thread=5199&page=1#21025Kimber was still riding high, ecstatic from the night she had winning the Amazon title. She found her way back to her locker room, looking to get ready to go out and celebrate with her friends, when she noticed someone standing at her door, like he was waiting or something.
That made her curious as she slowed her walking down a little bit right before she got close enough to see who it was. Finally remembering she had seen his face on the TNB website she speaks up to him."Hey, you're MG Cage aren't you?

Damn. She did look better in person. In no way was Cage "starstruck", but he did have his eye on her since she arrived, and he had already decided tonight was the night he was gonna make his move. Her winning the Amazon title wasn't a factor to his interest in her, Cage isn't that shallow.Yeah, Kimber Davenport right? I was hoping you'd come back here, there's something I wanted to talk to you about.Damn she was sexy

Kimber was about to open the door to her locker room before she heard what he said, and the look in his eyes. He wanted something. Money, sex or maybe her social security number. Either way she knew enough from living in Chicago all those years that he definitely wanted something.
"Ahh ok. At least you're honest. By the way, call me Kimberly so... Alright I'll bite, what is it you want Cage? And please don't be long winded I've got friends waiting to go celebrate this."
She held the title up for Cage to see it, even though she was sure he already had seen the news on the monitors backstage.

Nice title, heh
Anyways, I know what you're probably thinking, and I'm not gonna ambush you in your locker room or anything, I hate people who do shit like that. I was looking to do the exact opposite. I was gonna ask if you wanted to go out & celebrate your title win, but I see you already had plans.Saying this, Cage knew he had to just spill the beans, besides, the worst she could say was no.Basically Kim, uh Kimberly, I guess you could say I like you. I mean, something about you intrigues me, and I know what it is too. The fact that we're kind of a lot alike. We're both from Chicago, we both kick a lot of ass, we don't take any shit, and I wish we had been alike in capturing titles tonight, but Sylas is gonna get what's coming to him.
Knowing this, maybe sometime soon we can go out and celebrate your title win, Windy City (Chicago) style From the look on her face, he didn't know what was going through her mind. All he could do now was wait and see what she would say.

Kimber listened to Cage say what he had to say. And to say she was shocked was an understatement. Normally guys don't just come out and say what they want. They usually don't even know what they want so Cage got major cool points for that one.
She smiled at him as she placed one hand on her hip, putting the Amazon title over her shoulder. He was so cute standing there all bold and brave. She could have shot him down easily moments ago but he stood in there and took the hit like a good little quarterback.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh O.K. I think I read that on the website that you were from Chicago. Well we've got something common already then. Just so you know, you're already cool in my book then Cage. Consider yourself lucky because it's a small list I tell ya."
She winked her eye at him before reaching down and unlocking the door. She wasn't worried about him being some sort of weirdo rapist or anything. Jessie was on her way and she'd bite a hole through his soul if he tired anything. Walking into the locker room she hit the lights and stood by motioning her hand for him to come on in.
"Well then, you might as well come on in while I get ready then. We can talk while I get ready."

Phew. At least she didn't say no. Cage was usually a "Do or Die" type of person, beating around the bush wasn't his type of thing. He had one more thought about winning that title, that one rung on the ladder that seemed unattainable, before coming back to reality and walking into her locker room. Looking around, he notes it's not too bad.
So, Ms. Champion, what inspired you to become a wrestler?

In a hurry Kimber kind of just tosses the Amazon title over Cage's shoulder before pointing to a small love seat type of thingy in the corner of her locker room area. She had already kicked off her boots while she was answering his question.
"Well, it kind of just fell in my lap. or I fell in it's lap, however you wanna call it."
By this time she had found her way into the bathroom area of the locker room. It wasn't that far away from where Cage was bound to be seating listening, so she just talked a bit louder so she was sure he could hear her. Pushing the door up just in case he tried any funny business, she started the shower and started undressing while she kept on talking.
"I was um, managing here in TNB, which basically meant I was out there watching people's backs for free and not getting a lot of T.V. time either. What a load of crap that was..."
She stepped into the shower, feeling the warm water wash over her. But she kept on talking since she didn't have much more than 20 minutes to get ready.
".. So, someone suggested I get into wrestling instead of managing. I was always in decent shape so it wasn't as hard a transition as I thought it might be... Still, it's a big pain taking those bumps sometimes out there.. What about you?!.. What made you wanna be a wrestler Cage?"

Ahh, I see.
He took a look at his shoulder where the Amazon title was draped, before looking up at the ceiling.
Actually, for me, there's three reasons why. First off, I just l ike to kick ass. And I figured, why don't I go kick ass AND get paid for it? Then, I got into FPW and MG Cage was born.
Pretty sure she didn't know about FPW, he added:
FPW was a small "backyard" promotion in Philadelphia. It's still around, but I wanted to go to the big leagues.
The second reason, which actually is the cause of the first, is me and my brother Titan used to fight a lot, and I always won against the odds. Made me feel like anything is possible, seeing as he's always been twice my size and 7 years older than me.
The third reason, is I've always wanted to be like CM Punk. He's from our city and he's the shit, I wanna be the shit like he is.
He looks around and then looks at his phone and says:
Sorry If I'm talking your head off here, I'm just still really hyper from my match.

"Oh my god I LOOOOOOVE Punk! He's one of my idols! He friggin rawks!!"
Kimber was a few minutes from finishing up her quickie shower, still scrubbing the sweat and stress of the night away. She kept on talking while she continued to get clean.
"FPW? I think I've heard of that somewhere. Philly you said?"
Kimber thought about it for a minute and she'd recalled seeing some fans in the arenas around the places they visited wearing FPW shirts on occasion.
"Oh ok it must be a pretty popular thing just to be a underground company type of thing huh?! I see people with those shirts allllll the time and those guys look like die hard fans I tell ya."
"But hey, I can't blame you for wanting to come to the big leagues. If you wanna be the best you gotta go up against the best. I just never knew the women here were gonna be so good in the ring. Watching is one thing, but doing it is another thing altogether. First time I went up against Harlequin? Oh my god, I thought I was gonna be the first Amazon to die after one match! Ha Ha"
Kimber giggled as she finished up in the shower, knowing Cage would know what she meant about how it feels after a hard fought match against the athletes here in TNB.

So far so good.
Yea, he was the inspiration behind my name. Fortunately it worked out good enough. & FPW's like PWG & ROH, we're an "upper-class" indy company, but in the end I wanted to go to the WWE/TNA type shows. Fortunately, I found FPW... and you
That put a big smile on Cage's face, hopefully she couldn't see it, or else she might think.... something, but it was true, he was glad she came to TNB, she was his type of girl, & hopefully he was her type of guy.

Kimber raised an eyebrow hearing the last bit of what he said. Wow, this guy sure knew knew how to pour it on. And pour it on thick too. She had finished her shower, reaching out of it just enough to push the door ALL the way closed. Stepping out she grabbed a towel and began drying off as the conversation started up again.
"So, you're pretty straight forward aren't ya Cage? I see you don't like to waste time. Knowing that, I have to ask, why haven't you been challenging for that world title and why don't you have a girlfriend around here by now? Or even a wife with how bold you are. Ha ha."
Kimber thought it was cute though. And she did think he was a nice guy. She just hoped he didn't think she was like Stone Cold's ex wife Deborah or something though. Hop on the first thing smokin' or strokin', cause that wasn't her.

Cage sighed. This was the second time today his failure to be considered for a world title shot was brought up. Although since it was Kimberly, it didn't make him angry.
I should've been in that cage match tonight. I mean, I've beaten JOKEr's face paint off his face too many times to count, Shia Bitchstorm & Genesis both didn't wanna face me even though I called them out, Scott Joseph has a glass jaw & hasn't done shit since he got here but run his mouth. As for the avenger? That sting wanna-be, I'm pretty sure I'd beat his facepaint off his face too. But I'm satisfied my boy Jason, won the Undisputed title, and besides, Sylas styles is in MoneyMaker Inc so he has to get his ass beat, and taking his title is an added bonus.
And about the last part, I'm only 23, I'm too young to get married ha ha. But idk, none of the other girls intrigued me quite like you did.

"Aww that's sweet. Ok smooth talker, ok I see your game." Those were the words that Kimber said as she stepped out of the bathroom, now fully dressed in a Chicago White Sox jersey, a pair of tight fitting blue jeans and a White Sox cap with her pony tail hanging out of the back of it. The black & white sneakers finished off the attire as she presented herself, only minutes away from walking out of the door."Well how do I look? Don't answer that ."She then made her way to the opposite side of the locker room, reaching into a duffel bad she had left there from earlier. She pulled out a few girly things of hers. Some make up, nothing too heavy though, and some lip gloss she loved to wear on nights like this where she was gonna do some drinking most likely. While she stared in the mirror getting fixed up for the night she kept the convo going."Well when you think about it, either you or Jason could have gotten into that match. I think that chick he's always with has somethin' to do with it. From my time as a manager I learned that she knows her way around management type stuff. Maybe she worked her magic and got him TNB staff to notice him?"
"Who knows. But hey you'll get your chance soon enough I bet. If not you can always continue to make Money Maker Inc's lives a living hell. Lord knows someone needs to. What a bunch of losers."

You look..... amazing. But you're forgetting one thing.Grabbing it off his shoulder, he presents to her the Amazon title.Your Championship, mademoiselleHe said it in his best french accent, and then laughed afterwards. He looked at the Amazon title one more time, and imagined what the World Class title would look like around his waist. Snap, back to reality. You gotta get your name engraved in this thing soon, I'm sure you'll be holding it for a long time Remembering her comments about MMI< he adds:Yea, well when you think about it, I should already be a legend in TNB. I mean, there's only two people who hav actually beaten me, and I've been here since I think.... January or February. Not to mention my asskicking list, which includes the names of: JOKEr, Shawn Youngblood, Dice-K, Jeff Kain, and a couple others I forget. And then Genesis and Shia Storm were BOTH scared to face me, that oughta count for something.
I don't have a big ego, just saying that I've been overlooked far too many times here in TNB.
