No bullshit explanations needed. Gen. made his way out to the ring. Mic in hand. He begins to talk a little bit about last week, and the upcoming Pay-Per-View "Abomination". How ironic? The same name of the man whose about to turn some heads tonight, and piss a few people off.
Last week. Was meant to be the biggest week of my career. The night, that I came out here. Stood across this ring from a man. That I, at one time when I was in my 'young & stupid' days six years ago. Once idolized. Looked up to. As a friend. A mentor. A comrade. All of those things.
As it turns out. That same man slowly became an enemy. Ya know the old saying. "Best Friends, Better Enemies!" Couldn't have said it any better myself then that, folks.
But that man did nothing but constantly be that thorn in my side that continued to bug, and irritate me day after day, month after month, year after year. It got worse.
Instead of doing the right thing all those years ago? He did the opposite. Instead of passing the torch to me. He kept hogging it to himself. I wasn't his successor as he led me to believe all those years. To him, I was a shadow puppet, and he pulled my strings with lies & deceits.
Even when I had Brandon Payne doing my dirty work. Even then. He refused to get off that proverbial high horse. What he did last week was not only a slap to my face. But a spit to my honor & pride.
Lets take a look!
"Just You & Me, Glory Hog!"
*Gen points to the titantron. As the promo he shot for last week began to play once more for the audience*
Notice anything missing from all that?
Just a hint. The man everyone looks up to as there little hero. There shining light that blinds the darkness. The Avenger.
I called that man out. And he had the nerve to not even show up until match time. To the man's credit. Yeah, he did beat me. I gave the man everything I had, and he kept coming back stronger. I might be the biggest prick in this business. But I know when to show humility. While Avenger didn't make me humble. He did beat me in this ring.
But what burns me up even worse? Is he had the nerve to ignore me. To not show up when called upon. Is that really gonna be your World Champion? A man who doesn't show. A person who obviously doesn't care about anyone, or anything but himself?
Great... Just Great!
Ya know, you call me anything you want to. People can be haters, and hate on my legacy. Or for the fact I'm one of the very FEW people out there who isn't afraid to voice there opinions. But last week was a cop out.
I'm not even going to bother calling Avenger out, and wasting my time. But I will say this to you, Sebastian Crowe. Wherever you are. Hear this, pal.
Any man in that locker room would love for the chance to come out here, and face me. Guys like Joker, MG Cage, Scott Joseph, to name a few. They don't have to like me. I don't have to like them. But I know this much. Those three guys, and probably others in the back would have the guts, and the balls to show up and face me when called out. Not scurry to the shadows, and hide out in the darkness like a little coward.
But ya know? I'm fine with that. If that's the way Avenger wants to play his little game? Go for it. But I can guarantee the world this much. Whether or not he decides to show up for Abomination next week or not. Your hero, "The Franchise", whatever you wish call your great leader around here. Will lose the one thing that keeps him going. The one item that keeps his heart beating every day. The World Heavyweight Championship.
Best of all, Avenger. You don't have to worry about those other four guys in that match. Just worry about me knocking your ass out, and taking your gold. Because at Abomination. This "Abomination" is going to become the World Heavyweight Champion as yours, and everyone else's expense!
Gen. drops the mic. His music hits as the crowd starts to boo. Booing for Genesis, or the fact that Avenger no showed? Remains to be seen. But one thing was for certain. Genesis was ready for Abomination this coming Sunday on Pay-Per-View.
