TNB Wrestling.com recently caught up with the one, and only 'Myster Controversy' of professional wrestling. The man they call Genesis.
Over a month ago. TNB Wrestling.com broke the story of Keith Williams banning Genesis from active in-ring competition. In addition to this. He was also stripped of his 'Legend' status. This forced Genesis to start working from the ground up.
In just over a month's time since that announcement. Genesis is now reinstated. He is now back in the ring as a full-time competitor. His feud with MMInc is still ongoing. Dealing the group a major blow at "Collision Course' with his victory over them. Along with new friends MG Cage & Angel Fyre.
Out of this. Genesis has also earned a TNB World Tag Team Championship Match w/ Angel Fyre to face the champs, The Avenger & Shia Storm.
Also, on TNB Brash. He has declared that he would take MMInc out one member at a time. Starting with Shawn Youngblood & working all the way up to Christian MoneyMaker himself. With Jason Youngblood revealed to be the newest member to there ranks. What other surpries lay in store for Genesis?
TNB Wrestling: Genesis. Can you tell us what is going through your mind right now as you prepare to do battle with Shawn Youngblood later tonight?
One word, three little letters: WAR!
Ya know, just when I think MoneyMaker can't get anymore over the top. He goes & pulls a stunt like he did tonight. He recruited the other Youngblood. Big freakin' deal. Does he really think this guy will be the difference maker? I don't think so. He's gotta do better then that. Its like I said before. I don't care if this guy has the whole roster on his side, and I'm the only one left? I'll die trying to kill him and his flock of sheep.

TNB Wrestling.com: Besides Angel Fyre & MG Cage. Have you enlisted help from anyone else within' TNB?
No. Frankly, I didn't even need Angel's & MG's help. But they insisted on. So what can I say? I gave them the star power rub. MG's out there doing what he's gotta do for himself. Angel & I, well, we've got plans to bring home those Tag Team Title straps. But to further elaborate on your question. As egotistical as this might sound. I really don't need anyone's help to stop MMInc. There just an army of thugs. A mafia gang, if you will. MoneyMaker is there Godfather. So its like anything else. I'm gonna work my way up the food chain to get my hands on that little creep.
TNB Wrestling.com: Have you heard any comments from your brother, Chris Lionheart since his retirement?
Nope. For his sake. He better stay gone. The world's a much better place without him stinking up the place with his antics.
TNB Wrestling.com: Hypothetically speaking. IF you are able to destroy MMInc. What's next for Genesis?
"(laughs) What else is there? What haven't I done in this business?? I'm a Legend. I'm a former three time World Heavyweight Champion. Multiple accolades. Main Event matches under my belt. I've done everything in this business that I've ever wanted to in just six years time. SIX years! How many people can say that? For many. It takes 10, 20, even 30+ years to even come close to the achievements I've earned.
Bottom line. When I do retire. I wanna retire young. The last thing I want to be is fifty years old. Barely able to move around in the ring & wrestling from paycheck to paycheck to make a living. I've invested & saved my money wisely. There are other career options outside of performing in the ring. Both outside the squared circle within' the wrestling business. I've always wanted to be a writer. So who knows. Maybe some day I'll be on the creative or booking team some day. I wouldn't even rule out the idea of being a trainer, or a manager/mentor to a young guy or gal breaking into this business. So many different directions I can go.
I won't give you a timeline of when I'll be done with this business. But its like I said in a radio interview elsewhere. My wave is coming into shore very soon. I don't have too many years left. So right now. I'm trying to make the best of every situation until its time to ride off into the sunset."
TNB Wrestling.com: In closing. After spending most of your career being hated & despised by the fans. To now being there savior of sorts from MMInc. Do you...
"Hold on. Wait! I don't mean to cut you off here. But lets clarify something, m'kay? I never once said I was the savior for the people. The fans embraced me because they can relate with me & my situation. Fact is. If they still hated my guts. It wouldn't make a difference. You see. I don't play by the tune the fans sing every week. I play by my own beat, and they follow along. The one thing the people have always had for me. And its something that I've always, ALWAYS appreciated was there respect for me.
Avenger said it best. He said I was his greatest opponent. I wouldn't doubt him for a moment. Will I say he's mine? He's right up there. I'd say he might be my #2, behind Scott 'Maniac' Manor. Mainly because with Scott. I never knew what to expect from him when you were out there in the ring. With Avenger. As much as its always a classic, and a pleasure to work with him. I always feel like we work the same angles each time. Only tweaking things up to make the storylines seem fresh.
One thing's for sure. You've had your Ali-Foreman feuds, Sting vs Flair, Austin vs McMahon, The people vs George W. Bush, you can list em' all. But you gotta rank Genesis vs Avenger as one, if not the best. And, I think that as we roll into the April PPV event 'Nitro'. You're gonna see another chapter be told. Our match might be under different circumstances. We may have the likes of Angel Fyre & Shia Storm helping each of us out. But there is not a doubt in my mind? When it becomes 'showtime'. We're gonna deliver.
Oh, and more thing. To Keith Williams. To Christian MoneyMaker. To every hater out there who wishes death upon me. Read this articile. Listen to my every word spoken. Open your eyes, and your ears. I'm FAR... far from death. You haven't killed me. In fact. You've made me stronger.
I want to personally thank the both of you. Especially you 'Money Bags'. I want to thank you for showing me my pain. For making me who I am today. You brought my 'edge' back. You inadvertinely awoke the sleeping beast that has laid dorment for years. I haven't been this jacked up. Nor, in this kind of shape since 2008.
So boys. Get your popcorn ready. Set your DVR's. Because sooner or later? Genesis will get his hands on the both of you. When I do? I want you both to become humble, and feel all the pain & tormoil you've put me through."
