The show comes back from a brief commercial from the sponsors of the event. In the ring is Jeff Kain, in his ring gear, a microphone in hand.
You know, last week, I put on such an amazing showing in the 4-man battle royal that I'm out here to challenge for a one on one rematch.
You see, I showed the world how great of a competitor I am to the point where it's become pretty much a solid fact that I should be number one contender. No, it's a solid fact that I should be champion. I have yet to face Maslow one on one, and I'm sure I'll show him a thing or two about what I've got.
I was thinking...[/i]
Play-By-Play guy: There's a first!
Colour Commentator: Tell me about it, haha!
I was thinking about the Olympics. More specifically, the medals. It's become a well known fact that Canada currently holds the world record for the most gold medals won in the winter Olympics. Canada is known for winning gold, and well, that's simply because we're the best at what we do.
So, what I was thinking about is that I'm an amazing athlete, just like the young men and women that participated in the Olympics... I'm just as talented as all of them, so shouldn't I have my own gold?
Then it dawned on me....
The XTV Olympics![/i]
The fans start to whisper to the person beside them. The sounds of this sounded interesting.
It's a battle of will, endurance, and pride. It'll be a 3 event schedule.
The first event of the night.. A singles match with no rope breaks! For the sake of the show, we'll call this the "Men's Moguls"! This is to signify the first gold medal won. This is to promise a quick and easy victory
The second event of the night.. A hardcore match. This is to signify "ice-dancing". It's almost meant to be.. The way the figure skaters glide across the ice is almost similar to the baseball bat that will glide into your ribs to knock the wind out of you. The winners of the event, Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue, both reign from the north. Both are proud, winning, Canadians!
If you manage to win a match? We go to the third, and final event of the winter Olympics. Men's Hockey. Yes, we'll see a rematch with Canada vs America. Our match will take place in a cage. Just like the players are contained on the ice, we'll be contained in the ring.[/i]
The fans become ecstatic. This sounded huge!
Just like at the 2010 Winter Olympics, Canada will leave with GOLD![/I]
Jeff Kain lowers his microphone. The fans, for once, were backing him. Not because they agreed to his winning theory, but because the match itself would be huge, as we'd see two of the best young high-flyer's in the industry go at it.
Kain turned to the entrance way as he awaited a reply from the current XTV Champion.
