I used to catch a few HUSTLE clips on YouTube, and found it hilarious. I imagine Chikira is similar. One thing I sort-of miss in today's efeds, with almost everyone taking their character's seriously, is comedy characters.
What do people think about a one-off 'Super J Cup' Tournament, where all the combatants wear Lucha-style masks. I think if they wear masks, and possibly don't speak English very well, it would be very interesting to see how handlers get their characters over. It might even lead to some cool new managers being brought in to act as translators.
Does this sound fun to any one else, or am I way, waay off the mark?

Haven wouldn't don the mask, but I would love to RP for several caws, if it were all right. I even have my own creations. Just let me know. Btw, do you guys ever set up match stipulations here? Or at least discuss different ideas with the members on them? I mean things though gimmicky like, the losers caw has to wear a certain embarrassing reminder on them, or shave their hair off(and it'd stay gone for at least a month) or something serious like, that character is fired from TNB. (Could introduce a new character if you all allowed it)

I've done that a few times, it's something I'd love to see more of. Great things can come from a storyline loss which features a match stipulation.

On the comedy character thing I loved using them against serious characters, so much fun when you have a character that understands something way differently than it was intended.
On the division type thing I am not sure about it, I can understand the RPing challenge which is a great aspect but limiting it to one division I am iffy about. As I said about getting a non english speaking wrestler against an english speaking wrestler could provide some good entertainment.

Heh, reminds me of the inspiration behind KITSU in GCW. A ditzy, broken english speaking, cliche'd japanese girl.

Another possiblity, could be set the new division to one show a month, like during the edit week for TNB. That way, those who wanted in would have all month to get storylines and what not together, either last minute or during the course of the month. And it wouldn't conflict with the TNB roster, all that much. Keep the roster seperate, and set up another section for it. And limit the roster to say, one (possibly two) characters total. I can see it working that way, somewhat... Just my two cents on this.

Whoever is interested could throw the caw together, post it, and roleplaying could be optional. Then it could be run like a fight club/sim club/OWN. We could watch random match ups, no titles on the line, and basicly consider it all for fun. Who knows, we might see someone take their character from there, and use it in TNB on the main roster lol.

Is it okay to post the formula/bio/stats for these caws, even though Lionheart gave a "no more caws" decree? If so, then I'll have someone up in a few.

*looks at old topic and gets a little sad...*
Forget the "division" or their own show, they're just needed all by themselves, because they're special enough. Yes - comedy characters in efeds are still real to me, dammit! Along with "real" managers, tag teams, non-cliche/steiotypical females or females RP'd as men - and many other creative avenues that seem to have somehow been drained away (in the majority) a long time ago.
Those that still can, do? Those that can, teach? please?

^ Looks at above post. On the subject of humorous characters, I will say that despite what others may have thought, I thoroughly enjoyed giving the two Youngblood ladies a detective gimmick at Insurgence. I think I'll continue that

lol Looking at this, I think I could oblige. Well, could have. Seems like I am a day late and a dollar short as always. I had a comedy bit going in an old efed with XDX, of course, the people there decided to take them WAY to seriously, and the comedy thing never really got over. I know, I know, not exactly what you are talking about, but just saying I HAVE done it recently
