I see some people making manager caws/accounts. I love it! I loved how it was done in VWE, or atleast was supposed to be done, aside from a few flakes who didn't manage, but rather talked to ppl instead. So this brings me to the idea of actually HAVING a manager for my AJ Pain account. Now, this could be done in many, marvelous, EPIC, ways. 1) A forced on him manager. Kinda like with the FCC character we have here, he somehow pulls a fast one, and gets AJ forced into a managerial contract, where the manager keeps him toned down with the violence/bloodrage. 2) A love interest - A women who is interested in him, and knows that the only possible way to get close to him, is by managing him, and uses that to get in close, and ultimately stir up a relationship that can resemble that greats like Edge/Lita Tommy Dreamer/Francine or Beulah Raven/Beulah Nitro/Melina 3) A straight up manager who feels they can take him to the top, and keep him there. Anyone interested, or want to create a manager to pull it off? PM this account as I'm on most with it due to staff board, and we'll come to an agreement on the direction, and work on making it flow

I saw it, and have been toying around with one possible idea which could co-exist alongside a manager. This is just something that I, personally, would like to see. I'd like to see the diversity of Michael Reagan's character when trying to deal with the self-proclaimed 'two sides of hardcore', Jason and AJ. Different situations call for different reactions, and even as a common enemy trying to hold them both down and enforce 'no more hardcore', there could still be someone else running a character as AJ's manager.

"....few flakes who didn't manage, but rather talked to ppl instead." Haha Are you referring to me? lol It was hard finding clients OK!....Beacuse I was just so...So...Populer. Hey if it's managers ya want I can work double around here. I have permission to use Tiffany Doll. So I could possibly bring her in as a face manager. Or work up something fun and original.

lol wasn't even thinking of you at the time I wrote it. Was more ppl who randomly were like "I'm a manager..." but had no clients. All they did was walk around and talk, rather then manage.

I like the 1st one man. It can be like in Def Jam FFNY when Crow forces you to take down your own enemys. Basically I can use AJ Pain to beat his own people or your idea

I actually liked the Paul Heyman "agent" role he had with Brock Lesnar, where he tended to say my client. He seemed one of the more active managers, when you compare it to the "valet" type managers we see today.
Kind of like I wanted to have Sylas be Chris' mentor or advisor, if you are up for that?

I'm really hoping that we get some of these managers/agents for 2010. I mean dedicated characters whom will perhaps manager OTHER roleplayer's characters. These provided a different flavour elsewhere when they were used, and I really enjoyed reading posts by The Genius and Misty (and hope they'll both still be around come season 2). Based on his RPs as Michael Ragen, I have a feeling that MG could RP a very good manager character.
I'm thinking that with our window-breaking friend preventing wrestlers from barging in on staff, that if managers were to come into full effect, they could prove crucial to some people's efforts of getting their points heard by staff (IC).

If I go though with it, Stacie might become a manager character next season moving aside for a different character of mine.

A new season, and it seems a few of the previously planned ideas for last season will get put into action. With the only one show a month, it allows for more time to properly plan out, and then actually do, the storylines that some of us have had simmering on the back burner for one, two, (three?) years...
Although our window-breaking friend is no longer with us (fired for putting Jason Youngblood through a window, and causing TNB some hefty medical bills), there are numerous staff that managers could try to smooze over to get something favorable for their clients, and perhaps one of them will be more acceptable than the others...
As you can see in the TNB Towers right now, there is still a real interest in manager characters expanding (both in their number of clients, and the number of managers themselves) from staff side and those who're handling the few managers we have at the moment. The question is.... will we see it? I personally hope so!

For those interested, Lucy Youngblood is avaliable to become someone's manager alongside being an active women's wrestler herself. I'm not sure about the history of other managers we have actively running around here, or hidden in the shadows waiting to see if they're needed, but Lucy has successfully managed clients to tag team gold before now, so that might be worth thinking about.
Also for those interested, Keith Williams, although much older, is be no means an invalid. Holding numerous titles in his active time, he is also the man whom trained many of my 'first gen' efed characters like Lionheart, Jason/Shawn/Lucy Youngblood as wrestlers. So he knows things about Lionheart that could be used to give his clients an advantage, perhaps, or that would throw the Youngblood's off their game if they are to be your opponents. A wealth of knowledge, think of his as your efed-friendly version on Arn Anderson.
And please... lets see managers mean something in 2010?
