Dunno, but this was the list that's been circled around everywhere. I wouldn't call it a confirmed list or anything of that nature. I think if anything. This will probably be the In-Game superstars/divas list. Then the DLC to come later will have some of those guys. Like for instance. Lord Tensai is supposed to be in the game. Along with DDP & Booker T, as you mentioned.
Oh well. Take the list for what its worth anyways. I do find it odd that X-Pac is listed. Considering there was issues getting Sean Waltman to agree in principle to use the character in the game.

I'm questioning why Bret Hart is in the game? lol. He wasn't even really a part of the Attitude era. The attitude era, in my personal opinion. Really began starting at WM 14 onward. Hart was apart of the WWE prior to the companies change in direction. Plus its funny to consider. Since Bret has gone on record many times saying how much he didn't like WWE's raunchy & risque take on wrestling back then. How he wouldn't let his children watch the shows when he was still a part of the organization.

Oh and Karl? Booker T. is in the game. Check the WWE Roster list there. He's listed. DDP isn't however. So I suppose they axed him at the last second. Oddly enough, Mike Tyson is in the game. *smh*

Attitude being launched after Survivor Series paralelle to the 'Mr. McMahon' devil character is WWE revisionist history. They were already trying to do a Springer/ECW 'edgy' TV with Pillman, Goldust pushing the homophobia angle hardcore - no pun intended etc. Many people consider if to have started at the Bret/Austin bloody brawl at WM where they did a double-turn.

Eh, not me . Granted, in 1997 mostly. They did alot of pre-Attitude stuff. You could even say that with Austin's KOTR 96 speech, and the "Pillman's Got A Gun" segment. Were the spark that ignited the flame for the Attitude era. I just always considered the night Austin winning the WWE Championship at WM 14 being the "Official" start to the Attitude era. Also, back-on-topic. For those who may have missed this. This is IGN"s officially preview for WWE 13. Shedding some light on several new features & improvements for this year's game. Click Here

And I read on THQ site the Bellas have been cut from the game completely too
which would mean Natalya (who oddly isn't listed is in) and Tamina may actually make the cut

Moves on the Announcer Table CONFIRMED for WWE 13
The moves on the announcer table has been confirmed by Cory Ledesma the WWE Game Director himself.
According to him: "Moves on the announcer table are back"
Which means we can finally perform a pedigree, Rock Bottom or a Chokeslam through the announce table once again.
This feature was highly demanded by the fans, after it was taken out of the game from SvR Series timeline.
Before Karl starts bitching that its "not a new feature", blah blah blah. Just be happy that its back in the game.

Pfft. You say that like I should be greatful to have the feature back. I expect it to be back, just as any rational person would expect for THQ to make sound business decisions and not have removed it in the first place. I really am not prepared to line-up to suck THQ's dick any more. The C.C. disaster of WWE12 cemented that more than any thing in previous years. WWE 13 is going to have to be something really special...

Ha! Riiiiiight. Whatever man. You'll still buy the game cause you KNOW I:W won't last if you stick with the current product. Going backwards to SvR 2006 will NEVER work. But whatever, I could care less either way.
I buy the games because...
1. There fun to play (key word "Play"). As long as its solid, and playable. I'm fine with it.
2. I could care less really about the CAW features. I never needed it to enjoy the game before I got into e-feds. I certainly don't need it now. I hate how "e-fed people" have become such dicks about the game like its supposed to be made for them. When you have to realize. Its a game made for wrestling fans (hence the word "fans", not smarks or fed heads. There's a difference). *smh*
3. Frankly, its a tradition for me to buy the game every year. I accept the series for its good stuff, and its flaws. I've never had any real problems with the game. Yeah, it sucked the C.C. servers weren't fixed completely. But what can you do when you put out an "annual" title every year? You can only do so much & waste money on one area. Before you have to move forward to the next game. Then take the appropriate steps to fix the next installment the best that you can.
But hey? If that makes me a THQ "dick sucker" in your view? Oh well, so be it. So much for having an opinion without it being judged. :S

Things just got real serious in here didn't it. Thought this was just going to be information about the new game, and it turned way off topic here. Before this gets anymore heated. Wouldn't it be best to hash the rest of this convo on msn or through pm? Just saying. I'm liking the look of the game myself because its looks "fun" just like the efed is supposed to be "fun" . Again just saying. This negative stuff doesn't help things....

Well I apologize as I didn't intend for things to get heated. Oh well, its what happens when you put Karl & I in one thread. He see's green. I see red. We don't ever mix or get along. So... again, for my sake. I apologize. I stand by what I said though.

If it builds on WWE12's good points (such as keeping the face button controls, updating create-an-arena with stage, making the C.C. servers actually work etc.) then I'll be happy. And I will likely purchase the game.
But I'm not about to cream my pants over environmental arena hotspots and breakable announce tables, or swallow THQ's tripe about how they're new features. I hoped/expected them to be put back in, because they should never have been taken out. However at this point I also expect THQ to 'corrupt a wish', such as WWE12's free brawls where we got our backstage brawls which could go from room to room, but they ended with little cutscene knockout moves which made them practically useless.
I never said 'you' were a THQ dick-sucker, more-so the millions (and millions) of people out there who'll just buy the game regardless because of Cena, or because they can continue to make 100 OVA tattoo'd gothic/gangsta roided-up CAWs. But what I actually meant is that after I rent the game for a week, and test out the online restrictions stuff before my Gold access runs-out in December - 'if' I do end-up buying the game I won't be purchasing all the DLC etc.

I do like the idea of a WWF Attitude era game though. It should provide an interesting dynamic to the game. I am wondering how it will be implimented since RTWM mode is out. Think I read something about a 'campaign' mode somewhere.

I never said you would be overly excited about it. I expected you to bitch about the new OMG!/Hotspots thing. Based on it being a gameplay feature that was taken away. However, what you failed to understand was. Its not exactly the same thing either as before.
All the hotspots in the previous games were simple stuff like a 10 punch combo in the corner or slamming someone's arm into the ring post. That sorta thing. My understanding of this "new" feature (I use this word "new" loosely here). Is its a way to change the dynamic of a match around. Like we saw footage of Austin spearing Mankind through the barricade on the outside. I don't think its something that will "end" a match. But maybe be treated like an alternate finisher/signature move? I saw a YouTube video that hinted around about being able to fight in the crowd again. I think if anything. THQ is probably trying to make up for the mistakes/wrongs they have done in the past? (Like taking things out that fans wanted to keep in).
Me personally, though I don't think this has been confirmed. I'd love to continue a wrestling match after breaking the ring. That portion could be a match ending scenario. But I think if THQ were wise. They'd let that one just be a major moment in the match. Then the bout continues with virtually no ropes/turnbuckles to use.
I know its too early. But I haven't heard anything about Create-A-Belt. So I'm wondering if that is even going to make it in the game this year at all.
