Cory Ledesma is going to Germany this week for some sort of event and has promised to release a small amount of new info. The "big info reveal" will be the day before SummerSlam during the SS Weekend Event. So, in 4 weeks we'll get a lot of questions answered.

The menu select screen is so much better organized then WWE 12's from what I can see. I wonder what the 'black box' in the lower corner is?

Ya know, now that I've got a better look at it. It might be for DLC Characters. But like in WWE 12. There's a 'separate' menu you can access for CAWs & Divas.

I've never understood why they didn't have an L2/R2 or LT/RT prompt to ''flip'' the menu between superstars, divas, champions, created wrestlers on the superstar selection box, how you can press 'x' or 'square' when picking people in Create A Story mode.

Survivor Series 98: Deadly Games arena is in. Mark Henry (attitude era) is confirmed. Could this also mean the 'Deadly Games' tournament is in?

And I see they added Special Guest Referee back in. Could be a cool storyline element for some of us next year.

Thoughts based on the "WWE Live" video:
New Crowd Audio - Sounds much better than the current crowd, which can alternate between momentary awe and almost complete silence. This should add a lot of atmosphere to the matches, especially when finishers or near falls are concerned. I just hope DLC doesn't come along and mess it all up like DLC Pack 3 did in WWE12.
OMG/Spectacular Moments - Alright, I'll admit. I completely lost my shit and started laughing at King's 'AGHR!' when Jericho did the Lionsault onto Punk through the announcer's table. The Superplex from the top rope to the arena floor looks neat, I just hope it doesn't automatically end the match like the ring-collapse moment does. I also hope it doesn't take-away a turnbuckle grapple move slot, simillar to how the "timed chop battles" did in SVR06. I'm a little salty that the barridace spear doesn't open up a crowd fighting area, even a small one like SVR07 would have done, but I guess it's better than not having it at all.
Larger Model Sizes - OK... Big Show looked fucking imposing stood next to Miz. In previous recent games he, Mark Henry and Batista looked like they got shrunk in the washer-dryer. Can't remember how other 'big guys' like Kahli or Andre used to look when compared to the rest of the roster, but they were from before the new style of character models were introduced a few games back. Glad to see this happen. But I hope to god that it's not just for the in-game roster because then it would be practically worthless, like Andre's 'Ultra Heavyweight' weightclass in SVR06 that we couldn't use for CAWs unless we hacked it in. I want our larger CAWs to actually be physically imposing over our regular heavyweights, and not have the heavyweights be almost 6"11's because the height/weight are still tied together.
Predator Technology - Nice Shining Wizard animation that Punk has. Nice to see the Running Leg Hook School Boy Rollup return, and that it doesn't appear to be a 'press B to pin' choice move - that gives me hope that many of the pinning moves which were removed when the choice moves were introduced will also return. I assume Jericho hit the 'reverse' portion of the meter and that's how he tried for his briding pin, and then CM Punk hit the 'kick out' portion of the meter, and performed a bridging-out animation to do so. That stuff looked pretty cool. Mid-air finishers are cool... and I'm glad to have them....
They are just a slap in the face to me personally, as I remember Brock Lesnar catching Jeff Hardy doing a 'strike move' Swanton Bomb off a ladder and delivering an F5 to him in the HCTP debut trailer - it reinforces to me that between the interuptable moves introduced last year, that WWE12-WWE13 are only just getting us on par with what I expected HCTP and Day Of Reckoning's sequals in 2004/2005 to give us, and that we've had almost ten years of stale retreads and feature losses since then. But I'll try not to think about that too much.
