Yeah, if it works like a little thing to switch-up momentum or something like that then they'll be cool additions to have.
I still hope and pray for CABelt, but it wasn't in the build which Sen beta-tested. I hope that at the very least CAArena gets stage templates to use. If not then this game is looking to just be WWE12 with an attitude makeover. I want it to expand on wwe12's good points, not simply 'be' wwe12 with an attidue makeover.

Okay, maybe you didn't understand what I was saying. I will buy WWE 13 just like I have bought every game in the series since the first WWF SmackDown game on PlayStation. It comes out near my birthday every year, and it has become a tradition for me to get it as my "early" birthday present. I don't just get the games to make CAWs for e-feds. I played and loved these games long before I ever knew what an e-fed was. As I got more into it, I grew to enjoy the roleplaying aspect, and I loved the way I could flesh out my in-game creations to fit the world of whatever e-fed I was participating in. The whole e-fed thing just became an added bonus to having the games. Hell, I even used Nightmare, "Doctor" Death and Angel in the SmackDown games a few years before I got into e-feds.
So, if you look at it like that, I am a "THQ dick sucker" as well....and I am proud of it. I will be a WWE gamer for life. Even if the current offering has some serious flaws, I can usually look past all that and still have fun playing the game.

Same here been a WWE gamer since HCTP myself.. I am slowing softening my stance on this, because I do try and overlook the flaws..For me it was a financial flop because not only buying this, a year of XBL and a cap card to have the game itself fuck me over angered me the most.. That's why before investing in this game and another year of XBL and a new cap card device(was so pissed ended up selling it off to a friend to rid self of it), I am hoping to get real feedback but may overlook even that if they gave us a proper CC & C.A.B back..
It's a wait & see till October really lol

7 and 13 are only "lucky" or "unlucky" if you believe in that superstitious crap.
You have to find what works best for you.
But, seriously...back on topic. I'm kind of intrigued by the "OMG" thing. I wonder how (or if) it will factor into simmed matches. Could make for some crazy happenings. But, of course, we still don't know a lot about these things. Not much about a lot of things, really. The coming months are going to be very revealing for us all.

weight detection is back which will hinder my caws even more if they let me actually make them the height they are supposed to be. not many japanese walking around 6'4 haha. the hot spots will be ok but the AI will not use like it rarely uses springboard moves. If THQ would actually put some time into the AI for Ai vs Ai matches i would be much happier. well and maybe some more Strong style like moves and a few lucha libre ones that would be sweet. being as i have been playing these games and wrestling games in general for at 40 years haha ill likely pony up the cash and the 50 or so for LIve again so they better at least have a working CC that doesnt kick me out after a half page and lets upload a caw in under 5 days.

So, congratulations are in order. We all survived Armageddon.
Kudos to all you steenking cock-a-roaches!! ;D
It sounds like WWE 13 is going back to the same things they had in previous games, but I'm not sure if that's all good or bad. I like bringing back the announce table moves since I can never seem to get anything to work in 12. Destroying the announce table was always a nice way to finish a Falls Count Anywhere match.
But anyway...here's hoping WWE 13 ends up being good enough for us all to live with and be happy (more or less). Oh, and a much better CC would be a HUGE plus as well! That has been painful for most of us this season.

After C.C.'s issue this year it's clear that the games need C.C.. Whereas in the distant past WWE had a much better roster and the games were not restricted to hell and back, we could still have 'fun' playing the game; I feel that we've had a change. I realize fun is subjective, but I used to play with the in-game rosters before SYM's CAW mode, and even in HCTP. Later-on when WWE's roster lost momentum and the games became more restricted, these games basically became 'CAW wrestling' for me personally. Now the fun in these games comes from original CAWs, or being able to download great CAWs of real wrestlers, and customizing your game through Universe/C-A-Arena (or in previous games the Season Mode/GM Mode rosters and C-A-Belt) etc.
Each of these games have such a minimal amount of effort put into them each year that once the new one comes out and most people move to that, there isn't much reason to play the previous years games. Unless it was really something special, which is why many people still clutch their copies of SYM, HCTP and SVR06 close as the 'standard bearers'.
I'd like to see - instead of this year/last year's feeble RTWM/Season Campaigns which focuses on something different each year (WWE12 - WCW, WWE13 - Attitude WWE) - the games be more clearly defined, giving us a reason to want to both pick them up and also keep playing them after the new games come out because they offer something different. WWE Legends Of WrestleMania was the right kind of idea... but just give us those kind of focused experiences using the WWE12/WWE13 control scheme.
E.G. Lets say a WWE Attitude game has Hardcore Time Limit Brawls back; whereas a WCW game would have that WarGames match from WWE12's RTWM as an actual match type. WWE Attitude could try to produce an 'On A Pole' gameplay mechanic (which shouldn't be too different from a cage climb or a ladder match object grab), and the WCW game tries to produce a 'Texas Bull Rope' gameplay mechanic... I mean I can imagine a pretty sweet bull rope match if these games had SVR2011's weapons/rope mechanics still. Using submission meters to drag the opponent to all four corners once you think you have them beat-up enough. Or a move which yanks the bull rope closer to you, jerking the opponent and making them drape their throat on the top rope (with an animation similar to when you'd fall off the ladder in SVR2011) if you're outside and him inside the ring - or forces them into a short arm closeline animation. Pretty sure we used to have an 'arena hotspot' move in SVR2007 where we choked our opponent with camera cables, lets put that in there too.
The games really need to offer something new, or else it feels like I'm just paying for the Create Modes/C.C. every year - and that can get old when you're potentially paying for the game, Xbox Live, DLC characters for their new moves etc, only to not return to the game very much once the next game is released.

Either way o be honest and up front I actually never play the game per se. I think over the last 3 to 4 years I have only actually played a game once where i actually control the caw i use. as for the in game roster never have i used any of them ever on any game NONE. As I dont have much use for the in game roster as I only make created ones of my own. If they put out a game that just had the caw mode and let you sim matches GM mode style that you could watch. Give me the depth of the logic system and the endless moves of Fire Pro Wrestling I would fill my gaming room with white patches of you know what hahahha.

That's what they need to make. An "all CAW" edition!! No WWE roster. Just tons of moves and create modes for us to let our dirty minds run wild! LOL
Create-A-Superstar/Diva, Belt, Arena, PPV, Moveset, Finisher...even bring back Create-A-Taunt, if anyone actually cares to screw with that mess again.

Yes that is what I like.
More caw options. Like any real wrestlers attire can be given to a caw to use. The hair cuts and all.
I play the game for my caws and others to watch. I watch matches all the time, never with the WWW guys

GOOD luck getting WWE to let that ever happen. Cause its not. As long as WWE is under contract with THQ. They're gonna make WWE games. You'll never see an all CAW game. As much as fed-heads want that to happen. Its a pipe dream. WWE's locked in with THQ through 2018 (that's granted if THQ lives that long and rebounds out of there financial struggles).
Only way I could see that becoming a slim possibility, is if THQ went out on there own without any licenses. Then again, THQ is STILL gonna lose money. The percentage of people that want a "All-CAW" related game? Is very small. Maybe 10% if that. Great that you feed that audience what they want. But what about the others? Like me who enjoy a good wrestling game for everything that it has. Not just one stupid creation mode...
