Indeed I do want to face Avenger at Night of Legends for the title. After all, nobody who has actually WON the TV title has gotten a shot at the Gladiator Championship yet. I think it's about time I cashed in on that. I think it would be great personally. A first time ever match on TNB's biggest show of the year to close out the first season of it's resurrection. Many people may not know this now, but when Showtime was just starting off, there was a little known faction in VWE that was formed before the TNB federation ever existed called The New Blood led by Chris Lionheart! And who was one of the members to form an alliance with Lionheart and join the night the faction was born? Bryan Daniels! It would be a hell of a matchup with plenty to RP with to build up so long as I get the go ahead from the staff to do so. Legend vs. Legend Icon vs. Icon The Face of TNB vs. The Original TNB The Avenger vs. Bryan Daniels For the Undisputed Championship Showtime has never won a World title before nor has he ever main evented the biggest PPV of the season. When he stepped into Resurrection and won the TV title, I knew big things were to come. I don't want to keep Rosario from a rightful rematch, but I also feel this is my chance to fight for the title. I have won the TV title. I have climbed the ladder and done what is required of me to earn a shot. I even stayed around the TV title picture to push a storyline for others to have their chance at it by getting more people involved. I don't see anyone else taking interest, so it's a chance I can't pass up. All I'm waiting on is someone to tell me I'm clear to do so. My 2 cents... i earned my title shot & Rematch clause, so i would hate to have to be pushed to the side especially when i could be main eventing the biggest PPV of my career aswell. I do care about you and your dream tho, im not like others that would put there own benefit before others, and i cant begin to explain how i would hate to skip this or triple threat it. So i cant really stand here and act cool about it, but i wont be a dick about it aswell, so i will pull my name on what can be my great acolyte but... This is a must know for EVERYONE. I will be coming for the title after Night of legends, no questions asked no buts, or other person... nothing i will go for my rematch after Night of Legends period. To get rejected IC i would like Sylas Styles to come in and fuck with me and deny my contract. Thus starting the worst feud he will indulge in the 2010 year weather its IC or OCC. and us facing each other at this years N.O.L. anyways sylas can use the fact that i choose to defend TNB rather then to support him and his team. It can be epic i know i can do this and as much as it hurts to hand over the title match, it is just fair. but yet again i get first dibs on the champion after Night of Legend is over. So is this doable?

If its cool with everyone. I'm gonna throw my 2 cents worth into this situation. Since I agree with both Showtime & Diamond on this situation. I do feel both of you rightfully deserve a Gladiator Championship Match (or rematch in Diamond's case). So, the idea I have in mind is based directly off an old WWF/E angle in 1994 between Lex Luger & Bret Hart. Those who knew how the 1994 Royal Rumble match ended with both Luger & Hart winning the match, and both earning there WWF Championship Matches against Yokozuna. To decide who would fight Yokozuna first, was decided by a coin toss. So anyways, not to get too far off track here. My point is. I think it would be cool if either Lionheart or Sylas held a coin toss between Showtime & Rosario. Since he himself is having a hard time trying to decide who should face The Avenger at the NOL ppv. Once the toss is done, and whoever wins it. Gets to face the champion FIRST on that night. Meaning, if Rosario should happen to win the coin toss. He will face The Avenger first at the PPV. Once that match is over with, and either he, or the Avenger walks outta there the Gladiator Champion. Then that champion must defend there belt one last time against the loser of the coin toss. Which in this example would be Showtime. So in short. If Rosario wins the toss, then we have Rosario vs Avenger to kick off the show. Whoever wins that match, battles Showtime to end the night. Or if you wanna make things interesting. Have the winner of the toss decide whether he wants to face the Gladiator Champion first or last ? Just some suggestions I'm throwing out here for everyone to think about. To take into consideration. I know it would be easy to just have a triple threat match and all. But I think this would makes things a bit more interesting. And ALOT less predictable to the readers following the situation.

I like the coin toss, and think that the winner of the toss should decide when he wants his match (I'd main event, rather then fight mid card and chance not winning, thus no main event). The loser, rewarded with his choice of match type, so there is no "REAL" loser.
TBH, I'm liking all these season closing<--/-->2010 opening ideas. 2009 has been the most fun I've had since 06 when I established Starr, and built Styles up just abit more within VWE (and correct me if I'm wrong, that was ALSO when Lionheart was in VWE?)

I really don't have a problem with facing off in a triple threat or having a coin toss or whatever the case may be. Like I said before, I don't want to deny Rosario his rematch for the title. I simply want to fight for the championship. The idea that Gen brought up is rather interesting. If we got Sylas involved in the situation it would bring things full circle from years past and could be quite interesting I believe. Considering he has the power to do basically anything he wants in TNB and the history between the 3 and the situation being talked about, it only adds more to their history.
If anyone hasn't noticed, I have developed a sort of Jericho-like attitude with my posts with Tommy. Keeping the calm demeanor and trying to wage a verbal warfare instead of using physical confrontations or attacking from behind. I'm trying to leave the thread open for The Avenger or for a staff member to interject themself into the situation before things come to blows.

To think i wanted to Spear you threw the ropes lmao i am currently really enjoying the confrontation, between the both of us but yea getting sylas and/or lionheart in there would be great. The coin toss sounds nice, bit shacky on how we will do it tho, how will we toss the coin. i guess Sylas and Lionheart can make up there minds threw pm/msn and then me and Daniels would pick at random and they would reveal it. Still non the less a great idea a great way to end the season with the Title getting defended twice. So if i understand currectly winner picks either match types for both matches or Mainevent. or would the loser just pick 1 match type. History is indeed repeating itself and it is better then ever. i do want to end the season with a IC Sylas Hate. It would be something to look forward to next season with sylas down my throught and me wanting to put him in a body bag.

I really like the idea of the title defended twice on the night. Never been in love with the TT's to be honest. So it works for me honest. Plus it gives Lionheart or Styles the FU concept to the Avenger to make his life a living hell and pushes the storyline further. I say go with it.

Closing out Night of Legends with A Shed Load of Announcements Legends Induction/Awards Ceremony beings the night, and the Last match of the night is the "Legends Brawl" where our three voted Legends in the "Class of 2009" fight against Genesis, Manor (who should be returning at the Awards Ceremony) and Angel Fyre in a 6 Man Elimination Battle Royal to determine whom will be our TNB Legends champion in Season 2.
1. As he presents the title to the winner, Lionheart blasts Genesis in the face with the title as payback for Genesis face-erazing Lionheart with the TNB Undisputed Title replica during his Royal Bash ''retirement'' speech. This keeps the brother vs brother feud alive and sets up Genesis/Lionheart for Season 2, possibly over the Legends Title, letting fresh characters capture the TNB Undisputed Title for themselves. Gen/LH needs to happen badly. It seems like almost every time we had a really good story planned something happened (Gen reffing the LH/Avenger TNB Undisputed Title match in XWA but he got banned; and Brandon leaving around Resurrection due to OOC crap delaying the brother's storyline which was going to be a lot bigger than it was.)
2. Sylas comes out protesting Lionheart ruining the ending of the PPV, when Lionheart tells him it's about to get worser for Sylas. Lionheart brings out Lucy Youngblood, the person who created the Royal Bash match contract - and through some tricky wording in the contract, Sylas only had temporary ownership of the company, until Lionheart was healthy again.
3. Sylas fires back with an announcement of his own, that he knows exactly why Lionheart is healthy again. And why TNB has taken a knock in it's production values and has had to cut corners. Lionheart embezzled money from the company to fix his 'higher brain pattern' disease with experimental surgery. And further more, he's consulted with a lawyer, and since they both have a real claim to ownership of the company, they either split it, or Lionheart goes to jail for embezzlement (it's fantasy wrestling, it only has to sound half-way believable). Lionheart, not wanting to go to jail, signs half of TNB over to Sylas. Then they can jaw jack for a bit about their different styles and how they don't like how the other was running the company, which leads us into our two separate shows with very separate feels to them for season 2.

Well, LH taking the money was already part of my plan, as an IC explanation for the no-entrances. But having Sylas threaten to sue him over embezzlement was indeed you idea. I sat and thought about the scene and figured it could be inserted as the bridging piece to get us to our two show setup for next season.

So who promotes Mykalus then? I think it should be Sylas personally, since Lionheart hired him with the empty promise of being promoted.

Actually, I think Sylas is bringing Silvia Banks in due to their love-hate Famillia history. So Lionheart could indeed fufill his promotion promise to M.A.
