Marcko The Magnificant and his illusions This is Danimalhouse's character from 2010. If I recall he wanted the character to be street magician who tricked his would-be audience (other TNB wrestlers) and made them look stupid, or robbed their watch or something. The character didn't really take off, I guess people didn't want their characters looking dumb or something.
One idea I had was for DH to bring him back in 2011 now that I can hack moves, and to give him loads of rediculous moves, such as ones that teleport to a different part of the ring, as part of his illusions. Didn't happen because DH has enough characters to RP without the return of Marcko, and honestly I don't know how people would react to a competely hacked up moveset competing in TNB.

That actually sounds like a character I'd like. I miss gimmicky characters (in wrestling too). I can see a lot of people no selling it with their flawless characters unfortunately. I feel like contributing to this but it seems like just an efed thing whereas most of mine were for a CAW show (I consider them to be different. )

I'd still be interested in plans for your characters that are currently stored on the 'scrap heap' for future plans.

I wouldn't say they are on the scrap heap so to speak more ideas that I could use since some I have ideas for, since most of my ideas probably won't be seen in the public domain. Unless I make a video, but I am not sure I'd ever do a full show format again maybe just highlights.

Firstly I will say I have a tendency to keep my official character history separate from their Efed interactions, anything I class as official is home based. Also my characters are mostly like real wrestlers well the ones from back in the day in the terms that they actually play a character.
This one is very gimmicky probably something that would have been more suited to a pre Attitude Era WWF. Going to use the name of my old YouTube CAW show here because this was a story that would have eventually played out as I transitioned Logan Steel from a title picture main stay, so in OTW I was going to bring perhaps it’s oldest feud to boiling point with Logan and The Phantom in an all out war, with twists and turns, mind games you name it etc.
The main shocking point I planned in this feud was to have Logan beat The Phantom and then unmask him using the old possum pin wake up scene with Logan seeing himself as the Phantom. This would have started a descent into madness for Logan which would have seen him lose everything starting with his then wife, friends, title and eventually his success. With the more him trying to stop everything going wrong the more he made it worse through his obsessions, becoming a shell of his former self. In the end he would ‘make a deal with the devil’ so to speak and learn from the Phantom about the ‘powers’ it has. In an attempt to harness his ‘curse’ so he can use it to salvage his career and get back to the top again.
So after some unity Logan would eventually betray the Phantom, renewing the actual feud between them with it ultimately ending with the Revelation that the Phantom is in fact Logan’s father (Which explains why the Phantom was willing to help him. It should also be noted that outside of kayfabe it is a little known fact that they really are father and son.) With the trust now gone the final card being played Logan would finally defeat the Phantom in a buried alive match, and thinking he would gain the Phantom’s power instead he breaks the ‘curse’ losing the ‘powers’ he had gained. Meaning in a weird way the heel won the match, but in losing the power lost the war.
With the Phantom then retired Logan would be left with something missing.
This one would have been good to actually type up closer to the time I had planned it as I can't recall a lot of the details I had in mind for it.

Future Conflict Future Conflict was going to be a side Role Playing venture of TNB, an alt universe set in 2030. As such it would see many of our flagship characters old and grey, or dead, and would probably see some of their children running around alongside all new characters.
The initial backstory for it was:
As for TNB' s history during the 20 year interim, there was going to be a sub-board in the Future Conflict OOC board for members to submit ideas towards the 'official cannon history', and members could further discuss/vote on the ideas. Slowly, but surely, we would have built ourselves an official timeline.
As of now Future Conflict is on hiatus. Hopefully it will be picked up again and started soon. Unfortunately it doesn't look like it will get the go ahead without the bodies to support it - but it would have been something unique and interesting, which is always what I aim to do with TNB and for our members. Here's hoping it happens somewhere down the line in the future.
